Mod is made nicely, looks great and integral. Models are stylish, spells are curious, there are voices. This is the best warcraft 3 mod I have known.
My criticism is able due to high quality of the mod, in another case i would not explore the mod and criticise it.





(+) What I would count better mod
Better mod should not change current match ups, just add new races and match ups.
Or Better mod may make little changes in current races, that changes should be reasonable and fair for current match ups. I will list such changes.

Humans
• Let towers fire only with a unit inside — Peasant or Footman or any other alive ground unit, possibly non-hero.
• Remove Arcane tower's Reveal ability.
• Reduce Sorceress's Slow's effectiveness. Reduce duration. (Slown unit usually dies earlier then in 60 seconds. If duration is over, spell can be cast again considering cooldown, manacost and possible Brilliance aura.) Perhaps, it is necessary to increase cooldown and reduce range.
• Reduce Invisibility. (It is usually used to save units or for abuse. No need of abuse, and it is usually wents together with other broken parts.) Duration of 20 seconds is enough to save a unit.
• Make Spellbreaker have 150 mana. Give Spellbreaker initiate an ability to raise a shield to get Spell immunity, and that with an appropriate cooldown. Reduce his movement speed while shield is raised. Adept training gives Spell steal ability and Master training gives Feedback ability. No Control Magic.
• Make Flying machine unable to fly while using True sight.
• Reduce Dragonhawk rider's mana from 300 to 150.
• Increase Bloodmage's Siphon Mana cooldown, mana cost, and reduce its range.
• Staff of sanctuary does not repair mechanical units.

Orcs
• Let towers fire only with a unit inside — Peon or Grunt or any other alive ground unit, possibly non-hero.
Decrease Shaman's Bloodlust's effectiveness and increase its cooldown and manacost.
• Decrease Witch doctor's Sentry Ward's duration to 150 seconds.
• Decrease Witch doctor's Stasis Trap's duration to 60 seconds.
• Replace Tauren's pulverize ability.

Undead
• Basic structure increases acolytes' movement speed. Made by casting a spell or passively.
• Acolytes have mana and distance spell, that charges defensive structures and lets them fire in a period of time. Defensive structures do not fire without that spell.
• Make Death knight be able to cast Death coil to itself to gain half the heal amount it provides to another units.

Night elves
• Ancient protector requires upkeep.
• Replace Huntress's Sentinel ability by ability to send an owl scout that flies forward and backward upon some place on the map. Has limited duration and a cooldown, after which another scout may be sent.
• Reduce Mount Hippogryph and Dismount Hippogryph abilities' cooldown to 5 seconds.
• Make Mountain giant useful.
• Increase Chimaera's movement speed.
• Increase Nature blessed ancients' characteristics.
• Reduce Demon hunter's Metemorphosis's duration and cooldown.
• Keeper of the grove's Force of nature summons Treants regardless to casted on trees or not.

(1) Nirvana of the Elapse balance
Playing the game is to show cuteness and combine few simple abilities in a smart way. Novations make the game lose its amusement.
New orders in basic structure, race features shown in basic building, units addition, barracks' improvement, Elite units make the background complicated, and game becomes less amusing. Some of them are have a complicated mechanics themselves.
There are two reasonable unit additions: Ghoul king and Chimaera cub.
But Ghoul king is reasonable only while it appears at t1, and further it brings imbalance and looks odd, specially cause of Abomination.
Chimaera cub will not look odd, if it will be connected with Chimaera by research at t3: individually like Destroyer or all at once like Troll berserker.
(2) Humans
Human is able to get an advantage in every match up and often pushes its opponents earlier than they are able withstand. Opponents need to harass to prevent this, but Defense Of the Hall makes it more complex. Tax Collector and Exsessive Taxes allows to get even more resources while pushing. Also it increases imbalance in human favoured economical macro game and makes such games pathetic.
Human has a lot of melee warriors, so Hammer Warriors are redundant.
Rifleman is strong imbalanced unit, Elite Rifleman imbalance breaks the game.
Improved Gold Harvesting is imba lets human ridiculously outmass opponent. And even more imba with more goldmines.
(3) Orcs
Orc deals a huge damage. Courage and Rabid Blood are redundant.
Pigsty does not fit orc. Orc race is dynamic and a little fragile burrows fit them good. Pigsty is solid and it fits another races better, despite may add imbalance to them.
Elite Grunts are imbalanced, however it does not seem to be an accurate addition that orc needs.
Besides unit addition is weird, Furry tauren is imbalanced. Strategies utilized against orc use Slow, Curse, Faerie fire, Cyclone, so Spell imunity is incongruous.
(4) Undead
Undead is able to provide a huge damage, so Undead Inspiration is imbalanced.
Hell guard and Wrath of the Lich King are not precise decisions that solve undead's difficulties.
Wrath of the Lich King is random, it changes the game and makes it less curious.
Shade at т1 is imbalanced, specially in undead with night elf match up.
Witchcraft box's mechanics is complex, complicates the game.
Ghoul king is imbalanced in undead with night elf match up at t1 and t2. Its redundant at t3, since there is an abomination. Loads of multihp units may lead undead to become unkillable, since there are Deat coil, Unholy aura, Frost armor, Essence of Blight.
5) Night elves
Aegis of Elune is redundant in its concept, since there is a moonwell replenish. Makes the game too complicated. Player has to drop out hp items from wounded hero and hope ability will choose that hero. Player has to doubt if replenish from moonwell or wait for Aegis of Elune to apply.
Natural Crystal of Cenarius addition is unreasonable and then redundant.
Land chimaera is a good unit, but its weird to add novation. It would be great to make Mountain giant useful.
Chimaera cub at t2 is a good idea. It would be great to be able to turn them in Chimaera at t3, like singly like Destroyer or all together like Berserker. Also make Chimaera cub and Chimaera have alike stats. Chimaera lacks movement speed.

OF cause I know what you suggested at the list,It‘s all about balance fix.
I already make some changes about TFT data,they are very very few.
for example:
tanker - 50 hp.
exp book -20 exp.
banshee could miss mechanics;
Keeper of the grove's Force of nature summons Treants could heal hp when it's dead.
add mana recovery speed of Sorceress Master class.
JunkGolem reduce lumber collected.
deathKnight’s 6 skill change to a powerful way
Acolytes could revive if you Research something in Base.

these changes are added very cautious and fine .
and the changes must be added because there is no other good way.

at the same time, I have Answered the another part of your post.
The new stuff, what you called :odd. and Complicating WC3 ,
Maybe they don’t seems good or fit the Race ,but at the same time ,new skills and units Have solved most of the balance problem in TFT.I add new things don't because I like it or I love Warcraft history,new heros or changes are created to fix balance,and make this RTS game more funny and playable.
I don't creat new stuff to screenshot ,I creat new stuff for new way of playing.,hmm
for example,I made a new hero, I will test it and fix it a lot.If it‘s useless ,or cause balance promblem, I delete it
with No mercy.
I delete the whole Race Ice Troll and Blood ELf without an eye winking.
you could say : human get free money that sucks,undead could get more damage ,that's so op, Orc deals a huge damage. Courage and Rabid Blood are redundant.……but,if you play with same player and that man have the same gaming level,you will find it's more funy and not so bad as you worried.

Oh,.. about mountain giant,farseer skill ,..
these problems ,I know these things 5years ago~
I dont fix them because I dont have a really good way to fix
them.

just like Naga a unit ,i use it because it has a tail like naga- -(of cause I know hakar is troll‘s god)I will fix it in future release.

Hmm,I don't know how to express what I'm thinking ,because I’m not good at writing English.

I already meet Blizzard staff, head of Classic game Department,robert bridenbecker, and another programer pstilwell.
I show them what MOD Nirvana is like.
hmm they are kind man,and they will update Warcraft 3 soon.
They will fix balance soon .
so I think ,players could try my NagaMOD as a more bold Attempts version.
balance fix version ?,Blizzard will do it~
