This is a featured upload! It showcases the best talent and creativity available on MTS2 and in the community.

As I posted here, I started working on Body Sliders for Sims 3. A beta-version was uploaded in this thread.

Warning: I accidentially uploaded a wrong file on 2nd January. If your neck slider changes the shoulders, please redownload.

Included are:

Breast (female teen-elder)
Waist (all ages and genders)
Hip Size (all ages and genders)
Butt (both genders, teen-elder)
Head Size (all ages and genders)
Added 2 Jan 10:

Shoulder Width (all ages and genders, was experimental before)
Neck (all ages and genders)
Chest (all ages and genders)
Leg width (all ages and genders)
Calf (all ages and genders)
The head size slider and the neck slider will appear in the head region, the other sliders will appear in the mouth region until someone manages to create a new region in CAS.

These sliders are genetical and will be always visible. For example, if you use the breast slider on males, there will be no visible changes, but you can influence, what genes they may forward to their children.

These sliders use quite realistic ranges that work well on all fit/fatness states and all clothing. If you require more extreme sims, you can use a slider multiplier hack, as included with Awesomemod or NRaas Supercomputer, but look at the issues below.

Known issues:

The basic female t-shirt (the first in the list) has some strange bone assignments. I tweaked the breast slider, so it should look okay in most cases, but it may look bad on very thin and very muscular sims with very large breasts. If you want to be sure, install GnatGoSplat's T-Shirt Replacement Meshes fix (highly recommended).
When using a slider hack that increases the slider range, you will notice, that with the waist slider, the upper body and head will shrink on extreme settings, and with the hip and butt slider, legs and feet will shrink. Also, the hands may begin to shake. This is by design and can't be fixed unless you redo/create bone assignments for every mesh. This effect is unnoticeable in the default slider range.
The arm position is changed by the waist slider and the hands may intersect with the hip on extreme settings.

Slider limits:
The game has a hardcoded limit of 20 sliders per section. This unfornuately means, that you can't install unlimited sliders. As the game already has a lot of sliders, there are only very few free slots:

Head & Ears: 2
Eyes: 3
Nose: 3
Mouth: 7
As 2 of my sliders go into the head section and 8 of my sliders go into the mouth section, you can't install all my sliders at the same time without hacks. In this case I suggest installing everything but the calf slider. Also, you have to be careful if you have other sliders installed because they need slots, too.

You can install either Awesomemod to override this limit, or the core mod on the download page, but both mods only work for one specific game version (this means if you update the game you will need to update them too, or you will get startup crashes), they will conflict with other core mods and require a modded d3dx9_31.dll in the game\bin\ directory (should be included in Delphy's framework). If you have WA, make sure it is in the WA game\bin directory, too.

If the game is crashing at startup after installing the core mod, you probably

use an incorrect game version
use another core mod at the same time
don't have the d3dx9_31.dll in game\bin

Please be careful before installing it and remove or update it when you update your game.

Installation:
You have to install the BASE package in any case, as it contains all the text strings for the user interface. Apart from that you can choose freely, what sliders you wish to install, if you make sure, you don't exceed the slider limit.

Please follow the default package installation instructions.

Updating:
If you previously used my 5 (or 6) sliders, just download the new ones and overwrite the old files. Sims will retain their body shape (with the exception of very small tuning changes).

FAQ:
Problem: My game crashes after installing this mod!
Answer: You probably installed the SliderHack, but forgot to install the d3dx9_31.dll in your game\bin directory. If you have WA, put in in the WA game\bin directory. Make sure you have the correct game version.

Problem: My lip slider stopped working!
Answer: You are exceeding the slider limit of 20 sliders per section. Please install the SliderHack or Awesomemod. Or uninstall for example the calf slider to stay under the limit. (This only works, if you only have my sliders installed, because other sliders need slots, too. If you have other sliders installed, you probably need to uninstall more.)

Problem: It doesn't work!
Answer: Please follow the default package installation instructions. If you have WA, use the WA folder instead of the "The Sims 3" folder.

Problem: It still doesn't work!
Answer: They work. Either you put the packages to the wrong location, or your framework is not properly installed. Maybe try Delphy's Framework tool.

Problem: I'm too stupid/young/foreign-tongued/lazy to understand the install instructions!
Answer: I'm sorry, but I won't explain everything again. If you have a specific question or problem you can ask me, but I won't reply to posts like "I can't get it to work!" or "I don't understand the instructions!".

Compatibility:
The sliders have been tested with patch 1.4, 1.6, 1.7, 1.8 and with WA 2.2 and 2.3. They should work on PC and Mac. I can't guarantee, that they work with older or future versions, but they should.

The core mod is available currently only for TS3 1.8 and WA 2.3. Do not use it with any other version!

Unfornuately not all sliders are translated. I still need translations for the five new sliders in most languages. To make translating easier, it would be nice, if you could use my translation tool, export your translations as a STBL file, and send this file to me. A tutorial should follow soon. But of course you can send them to me as text, too.

这里大致解释下原帖附件（下载需登陆）内容（仅针对看E文比较吃力的朋友，E文达人直接无视好了），第一个是Jonha_Sliders.zip内共有11个文件，一个基础文件mod和10个调节部位的mod文件，语言显示内容就在基础文件内，我之改了那个文件，汉化后的文件在附件内，只需下载下来替换掉源文件即可，其他不用动；第二个是解除调节杆数量的mod，只适用于TS3 1.8版或者WA2.3版；文中还提到用此mod穿某些T恤衫时会出现很奇怪的情况，大致如下图中的Before，所以给出了个修正此错误的MOD，修正后效果如下图中的After

下载后压缩包内五个文件，所以共有五个调节杆，分别对胸部各个参数进行了细化调节，原文件只能在英文游戏下才能正常显示调节杆名称，所以我对每个文件都做了汉化（增加了繁体和简体），汉化后的文件在附件内。原帖提示：此MOD并非适合所有衣服

备注

1、我发现胸部细节调节杆中和前面10个调节杆中的一个调节杆重复，都是调节胸部大小的，反正我是都装了，貌似没出什么问题。只是我把名字改的不一样了，一个改承乳房大小，另一个改承乳房尺寸

2、下面是我自己电脑上测试的截图，只在英文和繁体环境下测试通过，因为我装的是台湾正版，没简体中文，所以我没测试。

3、大部分调节杆都是在面部的进阶选项里，而且和面部原调节杆的排列交叉，有点乱，不晓得怎么排它们的次序，望高手指点

4、这是我第一次改mod，多有不足，望见谅或鼓励，如有雷同，纯属巧合。
