由知名游戏公司 Digital Extremes 开发的「黑暗地带」，是一款针对新一代游戏而设计的原创第三人称动作射击游戏。玩家将扮演秘密间谍 Hayden Tenno 到东欧城市 Lasria 进行危险的任务，在这座破败的城市中隐藏着可怕的冷战秘密。任务期间，Hayden 意外遭受不明敌军攻击并且感染到 Technocyte 病毒，而这种可怕的生物武器会将受感染者转变成无意识的杀人机器。顺利击退敌军后，Hayden 发现 Technocyte 病毒反而让他获得了前所未见的强大超能力。他得让自己更能善用新获得的能力、存活下来，并顺利完成任务。

全新的原创第三人称动作射击游戏：
「黑暗地带」为玩家带来了全新的世界与角色。在整个游戏过程中，玩家将能看到 Hayden 随着与体内 Technocyte 病毒的奋斗，以及病毒对心智的影响而成长。


进化后的强大能力：
Hayden 在感染 Technocyte 病毒后获得了超能力，包括可以从手臂生出致命的锋利大刀，然后精准地向敌人射出。游戏过程中， Hayden 也将随着能力逐渐变强而成长。

如电影般令人融入其中的内容：
游戏采用直觉式控制和第三人称过肩视角，让玩家在整个过程中都能尽情融入游戏。

无显示画面：
「黑暗地带」颠覆传统，将一般的屏幕显示项目全部移除，包括生命值和弹药量，画面上只显示角色。当角色受伤时，玩家可直接从他的身体反应看出来，而弹药量则直接显示在武器上，甚至玩家目前有哪些武器和道具可用也都能直接从角色身上看出来，让这样玩家能专注在角色的行动并全心融入游戏。

创新的多人元素：
游戏也提供创新刺激的多人游戏方式，玩家可在单人游戏中学习新技能，然后运用到多人模式中以便取得更大优势。

How to install ---------------
1.Burn or mount the image(daemon 4.30.3 lite) install
2.unrar fs_3_3.zip in the new folder(named Starforce)
3.go to add new hardware and add a new hardware ->select "install the new hardware...(advanced) click next
4.select "show all devices" click next
5.click "have disk"
6.click browse go to the folder you have extracted the fs_3_3 that came with the download X:\dark_sector\fs_3_3\
7.select "dev000" and click "open"
8.click "ok"
9.click "next"
10.click "next" again
11.the driver installation should start
12.after the installation finishes click done or finish i don't remember what it is
13.enjoy the game
14.Play a game

How to change audio to english
change the ds.cfg "App.Language=RU" to "App.Language=ES"
changing language to ES in the DS.cfg file changed the letters into stars yet the voices were in english.

((Amazing gfx (lightning, textures and the overall scenarios are topnotch) and optimization (better than most ue3 game actually)
Gameplay is generic but still fun. Puzzles are way too easy, u have to destroy that aliens substance with fire or open doors by powering the blade with electricity.
Music is nice, sounds are ok. Minor bugs in physics (some bodies bounce like gears of war when u run pass them), but nothing serious as in the console version where bodies float in the air lol. The slow motion blade is a nice feature. You collect money which can be spent in guns and upgrades in shop similar to re4. There are some boss fights and different types of enemies, zombies, soldiers with shields, etc.
Overall... it´s a nice game, a gow/re4 clone i´d say, but more arcadish and very well done. ))

honestly. i don't think this game as shit as you said. please check the screenshot. i think the GFX is much much better then Gear of War or Dead Space those are using UE3 engine 2.
Anyway. download or not it's your choice. I DON'T GAIN ANYTHINGS PLEASE REMEMBER THAT. I just want to share a good game " AT LEAST I THINK IT IS" to you guy. =-)
