New Achievements.
The Sims 3 Showtime was the first expansion pack to feature achievements.  Starting soon, a new achievement will launch every week or so to give you even more to strive for!  These will be available for everyone with The Sims 3.  Keep your eyes peeled because some may be available only for a limited period of time!  You may discover that your Sims can do things you never thought of before!




Store Sets in the Game.
The newest and most popular sets from The Sims 3 Store are now featured in Buy Mode as Featured Store Sets! This feature allows you to find exclusive sales without leaving your game! You’ll notice that each room category has a new button that you can click to see the sets for that room. Once a set is purchased from Buy Mode, you can place the individual items directly from the set preview window. This eliminates the need to search for the set items in individual object categories. Be sure to check back often for new Featured Store Set sales that you won’t find anywhere else! To celebrate the launch of this feature, The Sims 3 Store is offering an amazing discount available only within the game for a limited time!




New Roof Texture Plus Object Fixes.
As promised by Graham Nardone in The Sims 3 Diesel Stuff Pack Live Broadcast on June 26 (archived here: http://www.origin.com/the-sims-3-diesel-live-chat), this Game Update also includes a new roof texture called Shiny Scalloped Roof!  There are a number of other object fixes, so be sure to check them out!
