德文版发布后，官方英文论坛关于资料片的一些基础注意事项

Dear Community,

The head start of the German community gave us the possibility to set up some answers to the questions you may pose after the release. This list will be updated as soon as we have new items for it.

Some answers and advices for the "Ice & Bood" release on 2nd of October:

• You will be able to enter the new regions with the old characters having the classic game and the addon installed.
• The servers will be split in “Addon” and “classic”. Player with the classic version will not be able to play together with players with the addon.
• The lobby remains for all players like it was before. Players with the addon will be able to chat with players without the addon in the lobby (and vice-versa), but players without the addon won't be able to go into the "addon" servers, likewise, players with the addon won't be able to go into the "classic" servers.
• On the Addon DvD are all the previous patches, so you don’t have to download them in case you need them again. You will still have to install them, if you did not do that before already.
• You need to have the classic version 2.43 installed in order to install and play the addon. The addon is not a stand alone.
• Your characters will have to be saved in patch 2.43 once before you throw them into the adventures in “Ice&Blood”. One of the functions of 2.43 was to convert the save games such that they can be loaded in the expansion. If you missed that, you have the possibility to reinstall everything from the scratch, stop at the patch 2.43, save your character in ClosedNet once and continue with installing the Addon.
• The Addon is not planned for console.
• You can download the whole EN Readme from here.
• You can use the new hair styles and skin colors only for the characters created after installing the addon. (here is a known bug about characters (not the dragon mage) switching the color to default after entering the game.)
• The windows7 is not listed on the box, so there will be no support for it. Though Deep Silver is doing all the efforts to fix this issue in the next patch. Here is already a “how to” on the SecuROM support site: https://support.securom.com/pop_sacred2.html.
• The addon published by Deep Silver will come out in Deep Silver territories. This means: Portugal, Sweden, South Africa, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, UK, Italy, Spain, France.
• Deep Silver Shops are here. (the Ice & Blood download version is approx. 5 GB)
• The support link for the shops is here: http://www.nexway.com/contact.html
• The Addon will increase the number of character slots on your ClosedNet account by 2.
• Characters saved in the Addon will not be backward compatible with a classic version.
• The US classic version is not compatible with the UK “Ice & Blood”. Sorry. We have no new info about “Ice & Blood” in the US area.

• 战网的“大厅”是扩展包和原版公用的
• 扩展包必须安装在已打了2.43补丁的原版游戏上
• 扩展包DVD中附带了原版的全部补丁
• 只有原版2.43（译注：经测2.40即可）下保存过的角色才可以进入扩展包
• 扩展包不包含控制台

• 由 Deep Silver 方面发行的扩展包仅在如下地区发售：葡萄牙、瑞典、南非、德国、瑞士、奥地利、英国、意大利、西班牙、法国

原来还要先升级到2.43.。。。。。。难道资料片也没有局域网么。。。

重点。。
没有US版本
US版本的原版不能安装UK版本的资料片
原版的角色必须在2。43下保存一次才能成功被资料片读取
资料片必须在原版2。43基础上安装，资料片DVD已经包含所有补丁
正版不支持WIN7，因为SECUROM的关系
已知BUG，角色换了新发型后进入游戏再换回默认发型会出问题
原版不支持资料片的存档
下载版将近5G

说了，游戏本身支持的，不支持的是万恶的SECUROM= =

如果不是在2.43版服务器上保存有创建过的角色，只需将原版s2从2.02升到2.40即可安装资料片，不是非要安装2.43补丁的。

下载版资料片自带的升级补丁就是2.02－2.40。
