基地防御指导

Each faction has two defense turrets (3 for Soviets) that are used a lot on this game. In Allies or Soviets matches they are a must, they can provide a good defense or even be used in an attack force when turret crawling.

Basic base defenses

One of the most popular defenses in the game. The famous instant pop-up turret is used to kill both infantry and tanks. It’s hard to evict them since they can be placed next to enemy units, doing a lot of damage until they get out of range. It can also be used to kill aircraft, but if you want to take down Vindicators you will need to have at least 3 turrets. As the Allies Construction Yard has a very large building radius, some players use it to put the Multigunner inside the enemy base, doing a lot of damage.

The standard weapon does a good damage against every unit, it kills Hammer Tanks in 12 seconds and a Peacekeeper or Flak Trooper in less than 2 seconds (2 volleys). However, you can have another weapon by garrisoning an infantry inside it like the Multigunner IFV. By garrisoning an Peacekeeper your turret will kill any basic infantry in less than one second. The disadvantage is that the damage against vehicles is almost zero. The Javelin weapon is fail, there’s a 4 seconds delay between each volley and the DPS will be reduced almost 50%. This number is even higher if you consider an infantry unit. The engineer will provide a repair gun, which is 50% faster than the drones in the War Factory. Spy and Tanya turrets provides a sniper gun. There’s no necessity to tell about all combinations, they are the same as the IFV Combos, except the majority are amplified in range and damage.

This machine gun has less life than the Multigunner Turret (37.5% less) but deals with infantry much better than the Multigunner Turret, killing any infantry in less than 1 second and having no attack delay. It also destroys light vehicles (Sickles, Multigunner IFVs, etc.) much faster. The “weaker side” is against heavy tanks, it needs 17 seconds to destroy a Hammer Tank. Another thing that makes it less used is that you need to place the gun before the 20 seconds, during this time it can be attacked and even destroyed, and mainly, you can’t make a surprise to your opponent! Lots of Soviets players like to use them to protect the Ore Collectors, it’s not a bad idea and will stop any ground harrasment (Sickles, Terror Drones, Mecha Tengus, etc.) very fast.

A Turret that hits only air units. It’s damage isn’t very high considering that it has only one purpose. Useful to place near your refineries to prevent Twinblades (that is destroyed in 6 seconds).

This tower can kill infantry as fast as sentry guns and destroys light vehicles 50% faster than the Multigunner Turret. Against tanks it’s the worst tower: Almost 23 seconds to kill a Hammer Tank. It’s not used because it’s too vulnerable in the core mode and takes too long to deploy, unless if you are bunkering, the core won’t deploy in time to save your army when you need. Secondary ability: Airdestroyer mode (Toggle mode). It attacks air and not land units anymore. The damage is a bit smaller than the Flak Cannon. The Advanced Rocket Pods won’t upgrade it (Although the Airdestroyer mode fires rockets).

Advanced defenses

Notes Every advanced base defenses requires a tech structure to be available, can shoot over walls and hits subs. They can’t be outranged by Hammer Tanks with Leech-Beam or attack any flying unit.

One of the most powerful towers, it one shots all infantry ad light vehicles, such as sickles, VX-Stiker, Riptide ACV, etc. Tsunami Tanks also need one shot and Akula Subs 3. One shot will put a Hammer Tank in the red life and a guardian tank in the “black life” (Like 1% hp left). If it’s not enough you can charge it with Tesla Troopers or Stingrays, the damage will be increased by 100%! The bad of this tower is that it will be vulnerable by 30 seconds until it gets ready (But if they are on heavily attack you can cancel them and get the money back).

Although these towers do 33% less damage than Tesla Coils, they are still a very powerful base defense. Maybe under-rated because it requiers an exclusive Tech Building, as it’s not popular in most games. One shot will get 80% of the Tsunami Tanks and Mirage Tanks hit points, 70% of the Guardian Tank and 60% of the Hammer Tank. Also, 4 shots will damage an Akula Sub by 99%. They also do a splash damage, but it’s 12x weaker than the normal shot. At last but not least, they have a “chain effect”, if you have two or more towers together, one will charge the other (but they will still fire normally) and do an extra damage, two towers increase the damage by 50%, three or more by 100%.

The most powerful Base Defense, but also the least used, as it has a super delay time, in 40 seconds it’s possible to kill two Wave-Force Towers. But if you can get one up, it’ll be your best friend in the game, it one shots every infantry (except Commandos) and does a lot of damage in the radius:

The damage the tower does isn’t always the same, for example, King Oni loses much more hit points in 1 beam than the Hammer Tank as you will see in the screenshot.

And sometimes it will do more damage than the previous shot. For example, sometimes when you hit a Hammer Tank, it will lost 75% of its HP, sometimes it will be destroyed. At last, the secondary ability: Premature Discharge (Instant Effect): It works like the Wave-Force Artillery, if you don’t want to wait the reload (3 seconds) you can press ‘F’ and launch a weaker beam.

The Battle Bunker is the secondary ability of the Combat Engineer, it gives your infantry an extra protection and buffs their range by 100%. If you put 5 Flak Troopers inside it you'll have an amazing anti-tank and anti-air defense that can outrange most vehicles! The problem is that the Battle Bunker is too expensive: $500 for Engineer, $500 for the Battle Bunker and the infantry inside it, it may cost even $2500, more than an Apocalypse Tank.

恩,12月到1月一直休假来着就没翻译,本来是每周一篇的,今天找老板谈完话,清闲了一下,就翻了:)

sigh。。。。人不能太懒。。。。z总觉得自己太懒了。。。

记得打一关ART OF DEFENSE的时候要守桥头,就在桥头放满碉堡,里面全装防空兵,刚开始电脑出啥都冲不过来,一大队天启鬼王之类的还没走过来就挂了,后来来了V4和波能炮……我就比较头疼了

旭日的防御能力实在是够差的了……纯陆地战就等着输吧,除非是小地图。
苏联的碉堡的确好使,不过楼上说的对……不能拖到后期。
