遊戲簡介:
《F.E.A.R. 戰慄突擊》資料片接續遊戲原先的劇情,以《戰慄突擊》結尾出現的直升機作為開場。在看著 Alma 登上機艙後,玩家將直接在墜毀的直升機旁甦醒,並發現隊友 Jin 和 Holiday 都不見蹤影。你必須靠著無線電和兩位同伴聯繫,並找到一切可能的方法逃離此處,使用新的武器和手榴彈,面對舊有和全新的敵人。
資料片不但將延續原作特有的恐怖氛圍和戰鬥方式,還會新增 5 個場景,包括大教堂、倉庫、地下鐵、辦公大樓和醫院,玩家將在全新而陌生的空間中,為生存亡命奮戰。
4 種新型態敵人
除了讓原先在《戰慄突擊》中出現過的對手以新面貌現身外,製作團隊也設計了 4 種新型態敵人。其中「New Heavy Varient」近似主程式中的重裝甲機器人(heavy Armor),只是更具攻擊性與敏捷身軀,裝備輕機槍和一面盾牌;「Phantoms」則是由 Alma 心靈幻化的幻影殺手,他們的態度有時中立、完全忽視玩家的存在,有時則會猛烈攻擊玩家,端看 Alma 繁衍這些怪物時的心境。
「Shadow Monster(暗影怪)」只能藉由出現的影子和它的紅眼辨認,是純粹黑暗的恐怖化身。而「New Varient Replica」相較於過去的複製人,則是一種全新型態的角色。
3 種威力強大的新武器
資料片延續了《戰慄突擊》的武器系統,並多了 2 把新型槍械和 1 種新型榴彈等威力驚人的武器。「輕機槍(Minigun)」功能近似突擊步槍,發射速率極高,但卻極度不準確。這種武器設計用來在近距離漢中距離造成大量傷害,不過極為耗損彈藥。
「雷射卡賓槍(Laser Carbine)」擁有極長的攻擊距離,能穿透重型裝甲,並造成中等傷害,如果要看到切割肢體等特殊效果,雷射卡賓槍將比其他武器更能勝任。
「Deployable Turret」則是近似 Remote Grenades 和 Proximity Mines 的榴彈武器,安裝在牆上、天花板或地板上,敵人接近後將會鎖定並將其摧毀。

III. 安裝指引

欲開始安裝,將DVD光碟置放於光碟機中,幾秒之後,自動播放選單將會出現。點選安
裝遊戲以開始安裝過程。
假如自動播放選單沒有出現,雙擊鍵桌面上我的電腦圖示,然後選擇光碟機,並執行
Setup.exe。
一旦安裝過程開始後,請跟隨安裝指示以完成安裝。安裝程式首先將會先尋找您的《戰
慄突擊》安裝路徑,《戰慄突擊:復仇之路》將會安裝於次目錄底下(FEARXP)。
資料片將無法執行,假如您安裝於於其他資料夾,或者移除《戰慄突擊》。
注意:《戰慄突擊:復仇之路》需要 DirectX(R) 9.0c 八月版本或更新版本方能執行。
此元件將會於安裝遊戲時進行安裝。
於完成安裝後,欲啟動遊戲,只需點選桌面上的《戰慄突擊:復仇之路》圖示即可。或:

《戰慄突擊:復仇之路》設計於 Windows(R) 2000/XP 相容顯示卡及音效卡下執行。此些裝

,並不屬於我們所能控制。
由於必須安裝與正常執行 DirectX(R) 9.0c 或更新版本,《戰慄突擊:復仇之路》不支援
Windows(R) 95、Windows(R) 98 或 Windows(R) Me。微軟未對這些作業系統提供 DirectX(R)
9.0c 支援。
假如您遭遇任何問題,建議您取得硬體的最新版本驅動程式,更新驅動程式可以解決主要的

將會有短暫的暫停。要切換回單人遊戲,將會切換回《戰慄突擊:復仇之路》。您
必須手動重新啟動《戰慄突擊:復仇之路》。

VII. 已知問題
===============
以下為目前版本已知的問題。
整體:
* 《戰慄突擊:復仇之路》需要至少《戰慄突擊》1.07方能執行。
您必須自光碟中下載並安裝《戰慄突擊》1.08版修正檔。
* 請下載最新版本 Windows(R) service pack。
* 假如您試著於舊版本 DirectX(R) 上執行本遊戲,將會出現錯誤訊息提到「The dynamic
library d3d9.dll could not be found in the specified path」。欲修正此問題,重
新安裝遊戲並安裝 DirectX(R) 9.0c。
* 快速儲存與快速載入按鍵可能無法於某些鍵盤上使用。
* 某些玩家可能於存檔時發生問題。此問題可能於安裝遊戲時出現「Feature Transfer Error」
傳輸錯誤訊息,或於儲存個人設定及效能設定時出現狀況而得知。此問題同時也可能出現在
關卡載入時。這是由於安裝程式與某些版本的 Windows 平台不相容所導致,主要為 Windows
XP Home 版本。
欲修正此問題,跟隨以下步驟:
1. 開啟「All Users」資料夾(位於“C:\Documents and Settings\All Users”)。
2. 於「All Users」資料夾中,於「Shared Documents」資料夾(或者W2K裡的
「Documents」)右擊鍵並選擇內容。
3. 於一般頁面中 清除「唯讀」的勾選。
4. 點選「套用」。
5. 點選「確定」。
6. 點選「安全性」頁面。
7. 選擇「所有人」。
8. 檢查「拒絕」並未設定。假如有,使用滑鼠進行取消勾選。
9. 檢查「允許」設定為「完全控制」。假如沒有,用滑鼠進行勾選。
10. 假如有任何群組與使用者,為每個人重複步驟8-9。
11. 點選「套用」然後「確定」。
注意:您必須為管理者權限方能變更資料夾設定。
* 假如您安裝了 ACE Mega CoDecS Pack 編碼包或其他類似的編碼包,然後遭遇道顯示或者
音效問題,您可能必須於執行遊戲之前,經由CoDecS Dashboard 關閉此些編碼。請注意,
關閉此些編碼,可以於稍後再開啟。
* 於啟動遊戲前,確定所有正以背景方式執行的程式都已經關閉,例如掃毒程式,桌面工具
(選單/工具列)媒體播放器,及聊天程式。
* 不建議於遊戲執行時,使用 ALT-TAB 進行工作切換或 Windows(R) 鍵切回桌面。

控制:
* 使用非英文語系的鍵盤使用者可能會遭遇某些預設鍵控制問題。例如,跳躍(空白鍵)

顯示:
一般:
* 選擇顯示卡支援的的解析度,而不是螢幕支援的解析度導致黑畫面。假如發生此問題,
使用 ALT-F4 退出程式並使用設定工具(configxp.exe) 中的顯示選項以選擇螢幕所支援
之解析度。
* 於Windows(R) XP 六十四位元版本搭配ATI(R) Radeon(R)執行本遊戲。
Windows(R) XP 六十四位元版 Beta 驅動程式 3 可能會導致遊戲啟動時黑畫面。欲解決
此問題,切換您的色階設定由 32 位元至 16 位元,然後再試一次。如此應該可以正常
執行遊戲。
* 假如您安裝了 ACE Mega CoDecS Pack 編碼包或其他類似的編碼包,然後導致黑畫面,
您可能必須於執行遊戲之前,經由CoDecS Dashboard 關閉此些編碼。請注意,關閉此些

NVIDIA(R):
* 某些遊戲中的表面可能會於某些角度下,出現輕微的問題。我們正在與 NVIDIA(R) 解決
此問題當中。
音效:
一般:
* 假如遊戲中音效與對話(語音)沒有正常播放,或者音質有問題,請試試以下步驟(按順
序)。注意,每次只進行一項嘗試設定,因為全部採用可能會導致遊戲的音效音質降低。
1. 確定已經於音效裝置使用了最新版本的驅動程式,通常此些驅動程式可以自製造廠商的
網站上進行下載。於安裝此些驅動程式前,使用裝置管理員移除音效裝置,可能的話,
執行「driver cleaner」驅動程式清除程式以完全清除所有驅動程式的元件並/或不至於
被其他驅動程式所干擾。不要讓 Windows 安裝其預設驅動程式,而是安裝您自廠商下載
的版本。
2. 於主要安裝資料夾(預設值為C:\Program Files\Sierra\FEAR),雙擊鍵 WMFADist.exe

進階選項:

關閉音效

event that you fail to comply with the terms and conditions contained herein. In such
event, you must immediately destroy the Program and any New Materials.
6. Export Controls. The Program may not be re-exported, downloaded or otherwise
exported into (or to a national or resident of) any country to which the U.S. has
embargoed goods, or to anyone on the U.S. Treasury Department's list of Specially
Designated Nationals or the U.S. Commerce Department's Table of Denial Orders. By
installing the Program, you are agreeing to the foregoing and you are representing
and warranting that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or
resident of any such country or on any such list.
7. Customer Service/Technical Support. "Customer Service" as used herein may be
provided to you by Sierra representatives by telephone and/or by electronic message
(e-mail). "Technical Support" may be provided to you by Sierra by telephone, by
electronic message (e-mail), or by posting of information related to known technical
support issues on a website. Unless otherwise stated in the Program's packaging or in
the Program's user manual, nothing herein shall be construed so as to place a duty
upon Sierra to provide Customer Service or Technical Support via a toll-free telephone
number for an unlimited period of time.
8. Duration of the "On-Line" Component of the Program. This Program contains an
"on-line" component that allows you to utilize the Product over the Internet utilizing
servers and software maintained by Sierra and or its affiliates. Sierra may, in its
sole discretion, provide the servers and software technology necessary to utilize the
"on-line" component of the Program, or Sierra may license to third parties the right
to provide the servers and software technology necessary to utilize the "on-line"
component of the Program. However, nothing contained herein shall be construed so as
to place an obligation upon Sierra to provide the servers and software technology
necessary to utilize the "on-line" component beyond the time that the Program is Out
of Publication. The term "Out of Publication" as used herein shall mean that the
Program is no longer being manufactured by Sierra.
9. Limited Warranty. Sierra expressly disclaims any warranty for the Program, Editor
and Manual(s). The Program, Editor and Manual(s) are provided "as is" without warranty
of any kind, either express or implied, including, without limitation, the implied
warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement.
The entire risk arising out of use or performance of the Program and Manual(s) remains
with the User; however, Sierra warrants up to and including 90 days from the date of
your purchase of the Program that the media containing the Program shall be free from
defects in material and workmanship. In the event that the media prove to be defective
during that time period, and upon presentation to Sierra of proof of purchase of the
defective Program, Sierra will at its option 1) correct any defect, 2) provide you
with a product of equal or lesser value, or 3) refund your money. Some states do not
allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or liability for incidental
damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of Liability. NEITHER SIERRA ENTERTAINMENT, INC., THE ON-LINE PROVIDER,
NOR EACH OF THEIR RESPECTIVE PARENTS, SUBSIDIARIES OR AFFILIATES SHALL BE LIABLE IN
ANY WAY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THE PROGRAM, THE
EDITOR OR AN AUTHORIZED ON-LINE GAME NETWORK, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF
GOODWILL, WORK STOPPAGE, COMPUTER FAILURE OR MALFUNCTION, OR ANY AND ALL OTHER
COMMERCIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES. ANY WARRANTY AGAINST INFRINGEMENT THAT MAY BE PROVIDED
IN SECTION 2-312(3) OF THE UNIFORM COMMERCIAL CODE AND/OR IN ANY OTHER COMPARABLE
STATE STATUTE IS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED. FURTHER, EACH OF SIERRA ENTERTAINMENT, ITS
PARENT AND THE ON-LINE PROVIDER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE IN ANY WAY FOR THE LOSS OR DAMAGE
TO PLAYER CHARACTERS, ACCOUNTS, STATISTICS OR USER PROFILE INFORMATION STORED ON AN
AUTHORIZED ON-LINE GAME NETWORK, INCLUDING GAMESPY.COM. EACH OF SIERRA ENTERTAINMENT,
ITS PARENT, AND THE ON-LINE PROVIDER SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INTERRUPTIONS OF
SERVICE ON GAMESPY.COM OR OTHER AUTHORIZED ON-LINE GAME NETWORK, INCLUDING, BUT NOT
LIMITED TO, ISP DISRUPTIONS, SOFTWARE OR HARDWARE FAILURES, OR ANY OTHER EVENT WHICH
MAY RESULT IN A LOSS OF DATA OR DISRUPTION OF SERVICE. Some states do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or allow limitations
on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply.
11. Equitable Remedies. You hereby agree that Sierra would be irreparably damaged if
the terms of this License Agreement were not specifically enforced, and therefore you
agree that Sierra shall be entitled, without bond, other security, or proof of
damages, to appropriate equitable remedies with respect to breaches of this License
Agreement, in addition to such other remedies as Sierra may otherwise have available
to it under applicable laws. In the event any litigation is brought by either party
in connection with this License Agreement, the prevailing party in such litigation
shall be entitled to recover from the other party all the costs, attorneys' fees and
other expenses incurred by such prevailing party in the litigation.
12. Limitations on License. Nothing in this License Agreement shall preclude you from
making or authorizing the making of another copy or adaptation of the Program,
provided, however, that (1) such new copy or adaptation is created as an essential
step in your utilization of the Program in accordance with the terms of this License
Agreement and for NO OTHER PURPOSE; or (2) such new copy or adaptation is for archival
purposes ONLY and all archival copies are destroyed in the event of your Transfer of
the Program, the Termination of this Agreement or other circumstances under which
your continued use of the Program ceases to be rightful.
13. Miscellaneous. This License Agreement shall be deemed to have been made and
executed in the State of California, and any dispute arising hereunder shall be
resolved in accordance with the law of California. You agree that any claim asserted
in any legal proceeding by one of the parties against the other shall be commenced
and maintained in any state or federal court located in the State of California,
County of Los Angeles, having subject matter jurisdiction with respect to the dispute
between the parties. This License Agreement may be amended, altered or modified only
by an instrument in writing, specifying such amendment, alteration or modification,
executed by both parties. In the event that any provision of this License Agreement
shall be held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be
unenforceable, such provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and
the remaining portions of this License Agreement shall remain in full force and
effect. This License Agreement constitutes and contains the entire agreement between
the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes any prior oral
or written agreements.
You hereby acknowledge that you have read and understand the foregoing License
Agreement and agree that the action of installing the Program is an acknowledgment of
my agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions of the License Agreement
contained herein. You also acknowledge and agree that this License Agreement is the
complete and exclusive statement of the agreement between Sierra and yourself and
that the License Agreement supersedes any prior or contemporaneous agreement, either
oral or written, and any other communications between you and Sierra.
