How to cast
Once you have pressed the spacebar
to enter Fishing Mode, click and hold
the left mouse button to pull up
the casting meter. It should appear
onscreen as a colored arc indicating
your characters casting motion. Each
end should be green representing the
maximum arc backward and forward. To cast, hold the left mouse
button slide the mouse back on the mousepad. A white bar will
move backward inside the casting meter. Take care to avoid pulling
back too far and therefore out of the green zone—your cast will
be cancelled if this happens. Once the white bar has moved back
far enough, quickly slide your mouse forward. When the white bar
swings forward into the optimal green position on the other end of
the casting meter, release the left mouse button to complete your
cast. Failing to release the left mouse button at the right time will
result in a failed cast. Pressing the R key will reset your cast for a
quick retrieval (your line will be cut if you do this with a fsh on).






7Types of Casting
There are three different casts that you can perform:
Overhand—best for long distance casting
Sidearm—best for accurate casting   
Drop/Underhand—best for short distance casting
  Overhand  Sidearm  Drop/Underhand
To change from one casting position to another, press the R key on
your keyboard. You will notice the camera angle switch. Then, pressing
the left mouse button will reveal the casting meter change, refecting
the changed casting position you’ve chosen.

How to change your fshing gear
If you would like to change your fshing
gear during the game (lures, line, rod,
reel) your lure cannot be in the water.
Left click if you would like to quickly
reel in. Then, while in Fishing Mode,
press the I key to access your inventory.
Scroll up and down with the Mouse
and click to select the category you would like. Once you’ve chosen
a category—press Enter to equip an item
