This patch upgrades the Sims 3 launcher for the Mac to have the same functionality as the launcher does on a PC.

Complete list of changes:

    *Mac Users can now export custom content from within their game like Sims, objects, lots and patterns.
    *Mac Users can now find their screenshots and videos in the Uploads tab of the launcher.
    *Mac Users can now upload screenshots and videos to My Studio.
    *Mac Users can now upload custom content like Sims, objects, lots and patterns to the Sims 3 Exchange.
    *Mac Users can download custom content from the Sims 3 Exchange and the Sims 3 Store.
    *Mac Users can install and uninstall custom content in their game.
    *Mac Users can “Open Launcher” while the game is running from the options menu.
    *Mac Users can view patch notes on available patches in the Game Updates tab of the launcher.
    *Mac Users can choose to run the game with or without custom content from the launcher.
    *On the offline launcher page, the “click here” link to refresh the page when user is connected to the Internet has been fixed.
    *Mac Users can now set their Sims 3 Store purchasing preferences to “Always download immediately after purchase”

如何安裝Package檔:

第1步 - 下載1個RAR解壓器

首先, 你將需要一個程式是可以解壓縮ZIP和RAR檔.
我們推薦一種以非常頻繁且自動的方式提醒使用者註冊並付費的試用軟體WinRAR, 這表示你可以免費使用這45天, 並之後你可以繼續免費使用這 - 這只會纏繞你去付款, 不過你不需要去付款使用. 下載安裝器和運行這.

On the Macintosh, the free utilities StuffIt Expander and The Unarchiver handle most any archive type created on a PC.
Then, once your preferred de-archiving application is installed...

第2步 - 下載Resource.cfg

你將會需要1個CFG檔包括某種內容在內, 去告訴遊戲正確位置去讀取檔案.
最容易的方法去拿到1個CFG檔是去下載1個已經預備好的.

• 在MTS下載1個Resource.cfg檔

No Build Sparkles! (In Testing,,)

What does this do?

This is a tiny default replace texture mod which overrides the textures of the sparkly sparkle sparklieness that is splashed all over the place when you build walls in The Sims 3. Normally, I like sparkles, but seriously, it's like fairy farts all over the place just because you've laid down a wall.

No Sleep Zzzs  (In Testing,,)

What does this do?

This is a tiny default replace texture mod which overrides the texturesof the gigantic white Zzzs that float over your sims' heads when theysleep, making them invisible and letting your poor sims get some restwithout exhaling giant letters all night.

      There's five patterns in this package.
      You'll find three tiled patterns: a nice celtic weave with a flower in it, a more ornate flower pattern, and a nice clean diamond tile.

      There's also two Fleur de Lys patterns, from the classic french lilly symbol.
      I thought they'd look nice in cloth and as wallpaper, so they're both in 'Themed'.

Increased Texture Detail & Shine - TS3 Skin Replacements

What do these do?

There are basically three main types of things here:

Increased shine- Works for both bodies and faces, to give sims a bit of a sheen,making them look somewhat less like dead mannequins. This is gearedtoward a good look when in-game, on lots and in the neighborhood - theside effect being that the already-waxy look of sims in Create a Simwill be even greater, but they look pretty nice everywhere else.

Increased texturing on faces- So they're not so perfectly smooth and featureless. This isunfortunately fairly subtle, and I'm still working on a better solutionfor this, but (IMO) these are an improvement, even if it isn't adramatic one.

Greater detail body skins- Many tweaks and fiddly bits done to the skins of both genders to makethem look a little more natural and nice. Please see below section fora detailed description of all these tweaks, as well as the two"flavours" each gender comes in. I have strived to make sure thesetweaks look good on all body types - no easy task!

Everything's optional, so you can pick and choose what you want and what you don't.

Greater Body Detail Textures:

I have done a -lot- of tweaking to the body skins to my liking!

For females:

• Throat - Smoother, more feminine texture shape
• Collarbone - Changed  placement, so it is placed on the actual location of the collarbone shape on the body mesh
• BreastShadows - Greatly reduced the shadow beneath the breasts, making it nolonger look like all sims have heavily bruised underboobs (and makingbreasts look much more natural for smaller-breasted sims)
• Nipples (Optional) - Nipples option includes natural-looking nipples that scale with breast size.
• Belly - Smoother, more contoured belly

For males:

• Nipples - Males now have proper looking nipples, not just dots painted on with a marker
• Body Hair (Optional) - Body Hair option includes light body hair on arms, legs, and chest

For both genders:

• Butt textures - More lifted and shapely
• Butt dimples - Subtle little indentations above the butt on the lower back
• More defined bellybutton - no more tiny dot navels!
• Fingernails - Improved shading and highlighting
• Shoulderblades and spine - Greater range of highlight and shadow
• Knees - More detailed textures, both on the kneecap and back of the knee

Important info!

Please actually read this stuff. I know it's just SO much fun to askstupid questions I've already answered, but save my sanity and actuallyread for once? Pretty please with bacon on top?

ALL these features above work only for teen through elder.Babies, toddlers, and children are not affected and remain as they arein the vanilla game. I didn't see the point in doing the full rangewhen I will likely release an improved version later.

These are DEFAULT REPLACEMENTSwhich means they override the game's textures to create these affects.There is not yet any known way to make non-default skintones.

These work for all six skin colours, for all ranges.  There is no known way to make them only work for natural skins or only green skins, etc.

Some measure of pixellation is present on certain areas of the bodies,faces, and shine in-game. This appears unavoidable and part of how thegame renders skintones - such pixellation is not present on my textures.

These may not look perfect in all lighting - the shine goes almostcompletely matte when in shadow outside. This is the game itself'sfault, and not my doing.

Installation Instructions:

Downloading - Please read carefully!  I've done this as a very optional set so you can choose exactly what you want!

If you would like the increased shine: download IncreasedSkinShine.rar

If you would like the more detailed faces: downloadMoreTexturedFaces-Male.rar and/or MoreTexturedFaces-Female.rar - youcan get one or both

If you would like the more detailed bodies (female): choose ONE (notboth!) of the following files:MoreDetailedBodies-Female-FullyBarbie.rar ORMoreDetailedBodies-Female-NipplesOnly.rar

If you would like the more detailed bodies (male) choose ONE (notboth!) of the following files: MoreDetailedBodies-Male-FullyBarbie.rarOR MoreDetailedBodies-Male-WithHair.rar

Installing:

Extract the contents of the rar files you have chosen to download.  Then, follow these instructions to get them working in your game.

For existing sims:

Unlike TS2, default skins will not automatically update on existing sims!You will have to Change Appearance and Plan outfit (and make actualchanges, not just click the checkbox without changing things!) for every outfit typefor each and every sim, if you use these skins with existing sims. Forthis reason, it is much better to use these skins with a freshneighborhood or with all new families.

Floor Thickness Texture Replacer

What does this do?

This is a tiny default replace texture mod which overrides the textures of the floor thickness that will show on the edges of balconies,porches, and the like. Because pink and yellowy-green looks kinda stupid unless your house is made of gingerbread.
