We have played the latest build of Starcraft 2 at Blizzard and battled it out in multiplayer for hours. Because Blizzard has rolled up lots of stuff in the past few months we will present all the units of the three fractions her to you once again. It’s unlikely that a lot of things will change until the start of the beta test, after all you can sign up for it already. Thus we estimate the kickoff for the closed beta will be sometime around end of may to beginning of june.

For those that missed the earlier update, the Hellion now receives a +10 damage bonus to light units with an upgrade:
This agile vehicle burns enemy troops with its flame thrower. With the according upgrade it does more damage against small units like Zerglings and Marines.

Defending it’s title as the unit that has received the most name changes, the (now called) Raven also gets another ability:
The air unit with the former name “Nighthawk“ is unarmored but has lots of useful special abilities. In addition it can see cloaked units.
Defence Drone: With this drone you catch enemy projectiles, rockets of the Terran turret towers for instance. Therefore this special weapon is suitable for attacking bases. Against low calibre attacks like the spitted needles of the Hydralisks however it’s useless.

The article also hinted that the Nullifier has been rename：
In earlier builds of Starcraft 2 this fighting robot was called “Nullifier”. With its “energy rays” it can hit ground and air units, his true strength are his special abilities though.

废弃者可能会被改名。并且指出废弃者虽然可以对地对空，但是其真正的力量是拥有特殊的技能(注：如反重力和力场这两个技能)



And finally, the High Templar receives a new skilled that puts it in a more supportive role:
Plasma Impulse: Like the Shield Batteries of the first Starcraft the Templar reloads the damaged shields of all Protoss units in the target area.
