line : 1975 I am the master of this arena. I can arrange fights between any two combatants of your choice. You may choose from our stable of legendary gladiators, all of whom will gladly kill each other for your enjoyment.
line : 2471 Because of the extreme lethality of the battles here, I normally don't allow you to actually pit yourself against any of the other combatants. What I can do is create clones of yourself to engage in mortal combat while you watch in relative safety.

line : 3227 The fighting isn't so bad. It's quite humane, really. All of our combatants are actually clones of the real gladiators. This arena is a safe place for heroes to test their prowess against each other without risking life or limb.

line : 70358 This aasimar is a Paladin 4 / Sorcerer 6 / Eldritch Knight 10 / Arcane Scholar of Candlekeep 10. She is fully armored but can cast up to level 9 sorcerer spells with no chance of arcane failure.
line : 70441 Being a paladin, she also has some of the craziest saving throws this side of Abeir-Toril. However, she can hardly hit anything with that longsword of hers, so she relies mostly on her spells to defeat her opponents.
line : 70577 She's no sitting duck. She has a few offensive spells that cannot be saved against, and her initial attacks with them deal <i>maximum</i> damage. If you can survive that onslaught, she won't have much left to hit you with.
line : 70660 This wood elf is a Ranger 21 / Fighter 1 / Blackguard 3 / Frenzied Berserker 5. He wears medium Mithral armor, and he fights with a longsword in his right hand and a short sword in his left.
line : 70743 His saving throws are very high, thanks to his Blackguard training, and his aura of despair can dishearten foes a bit. He also has excellent chances to hit his opponent.
line : 70875 Unfortunately, his chance to be hit is also very good. Most epic heroes can easily make minced meat of him. This inconvenient ranger makes a very convenient target to test your prowess on.
line : 70958 This human is a Bard 1 / Favored Soul 16 / Blackguard 3 / Red Dragon Disciple 10. He can hit as well as any fighter, thanks to his Divine Power and Might. With his aura of despair and tremendous strength, you'd prefer to keep out of arm's reach if you can.
line : 71041 This drow is a Monk 11 / Fighter 12 / Invisible Blade 5 / Paladin 2. His heritage allows him to resist most spells, and his paladin training allows him to save against nearly anything. His AC isn't as high as the Kaze no Kama's, but it's higher than that of most epic heroes.
line : 71124 The Drow Fury's physical strength is low, but he wields his two kamas with finesse. He also leverages his intelligence to strike where it hurts the most. Unfortunately, having low strength makes him vulnerable to Bigby's spells.
line : 71260 He's also vulnerable to damaging spells that allow no saving throw. Against invocations that also bypass spell resistance, the Drow Fury is especially helpless. If your combat style is physical, try to knock him off his feet and hack him while he's down.
line : 71343 This human is a Warlock 29 / Cleric 1. She is fully armored, bearing a heavy shield. She also relies on the Divine Shield feat to further raise her AC. She carries a morningstar, but she never actually uses it, so I guess it's just there for show.
line : 71426 When heavily damaged, she can regenerate her hit points in no time at all. Her favorite tactic is to marinate her opponents with a fearsome acid blast that bypasses spell resistance. She prefers to use touch ranged attacks, which grant no reflex saving throws.

line : 71728 His saving throws are excellent, thanks to his training as a paladin. He's also naturally immune to fire, courtesy of his red dragon heritage. His spellcasting abilities are virtually negligible, although that isn't a problem for this formidable fighter.

line : 72249 The best way to fight her, perhaps, is by blasting her with offensive spells. Avoid the ones that allow Fortitude saves, and don't ever make the mistake of using fire-based ones. She's completely immune to fire.

line : 73019 The Divine Storm Soul fights with a spear in one hand and a shield in the other. His spear is magical, but he can enchant it further to do extra electrical and sonic damage. He's naturally immune to electrical damage, so don't waste your time trying to shock him.
line : 73155 If you want to blast him with magic, be sure to disable him first, or he'll quickly heal whatever damage you dish out. This hero is tough to beat. There is no shame in yielding to his prowess.

line : 73374 The Eldritch Blade is able to defeat a good number of epic heroes with her spells and weapons. Nevertheless, she can be beaten by someone with a lot of hit points or by a better arcane caster. If you fit that description, you might stand a chance against her.
line : 73457 The Immortal Treant is actually a human Druid 12 / Monk 2 / Sacred Fist 10 / Duelist 6. She got her name from her ability to transform into a treant or shambling mound. Nevertheless, she actually has a better chance to survive if she does <i>not</i> transform.
line : 73540 The Immortal Treant is capable of making short work of enemies with her fists of fury. She doesn't do much damage with each hit, but she does a lot of them. She'll wear you out over time while you struggle to get a solid hit in.
line : 73676 You will need a lot of damaging power to compensate for the difficulty in hitting her. Barring that, you will want to have a lot of damaging spells with no saving throws. Casting arcane spells or warlock invocations is probably the fastest way to defeat her.
line : 73759 This drow is a Rogue 10 / Wizard 7 / Arcane Trickster 10 / Neverwinter Nine 3. He's a jack of all trades and a master of none. He attacks with two short swords but can't hit well with them. Don't underestimate him, though, 'cause he has quite a few deadly spells.
line : 73842 This drow is a Bard 1 / Cleric 9 / Stormlord 10 / Red Dragon Disciple 10. She fights with two spears, and she wields them surprisingly well when buffed. The sight of a Stormlord impaling her opponent with two spears at once is truly awesome to behold.
line : 73925 The Holy Dragon Dervish relies on her spells to buff her abilities. Without them, she can neither fight nor defend herself well. Even without her buffs, she isn't entirely defenseless, because she is naturally immune to both fire and electricity.
line : 74008 This human is a Monk 2 / Sorcerer 16 / Arcane Scholar of Candlekeep 10 / Cleric 2. She is fully armored yet can cast up to 9th level sorcerer spells without any chance of failure. When she activates her Divine Shield, she is one of the most difficult gladiators to hit.
line : 74091 Few can stand up to the Iron Sorcerer's brutal magic. Her opponent would probably have to be a faster and more talented arcane spellcaster than her to dispatch her before she unleashes a storm of maximized spells.

line : 74612 If you want to fight her and you happen to be an expert mage, use highly damaging spells that allow no Reflex saving throws. Otherwise, if you're a well-armored and talented fighter with plenty of luck to spare, you just might win against her. Or you might not.
line : 74695 The Kaze no Kama Duelist is a Monk 11 / Fighter 12 / Duelist 7. Like his twin sister, the Kaze no Kama, this deep gnome fights well with a lethal kama in each hand.
line : 74778 In all other respects, the Kaze no Kama Duelist has almost all the same advantages that his sister has. He can dodge spells that allow Reflex saves, and he can shield himself from ranged touch attacks. With his high AC, it would take a lot of luck to hit this little guy.

line : 103981 Despite the magnitude of his damage, the Underdread has his weaknesses. He's not too difficult to hit, and a super-strong fighter may be able to knock him down. He's nothing without that oversized farming implement he carries, so try to knock it off him as well.
line : 104117 The quickest way to defeat him is with high-powered arcane spells. Coupled with the right metamagics, he'll be dead in no time. You better be fast, though, or you'll be pushing daisies with the rest of his former enemies.
