I've made a set of competition backgrounds which I use in my game and thought I'd share them with the community.

They use kremmen's awesome Metallic Logos, with his kind permission, and if people like them then I will release updates shortly after any updates to the Metallic Logos (obviously only where there are any updated / new competition logos).

I run my game in 1280x800 resolution (16:10 ratio) which, with the standard skin (with backgrounds enabled) gives me a background "window" 1280x610, hence the size of the backgrounds in the pack.

If you run the game in a different resolution the backgrounds may appear slightly distorted (ie short and fat or tall and thin), but this does seem to be the case with all background packs out there.

Here's some screenies (using the base2012 dark bg skin with the darker bg overlay.):-
If you like them, you can download the full pack here:-

Simply extract and place the complete competitions directory in the following location:-

C:\YOURNAME\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2012\graphics\pictures\backgrounds
(unless you have changed your user directory).

Please see the ReadMe concerning the "extra" folder inside the "competitions" folder, and if you don't want to use those then simply delete the whole directory, or at least the config file that's in there.
