（编者注：侠客岛的真正嘴脸居然如此，虽非金庸本意，但是慕容眼光非常犀利地发现了金庸作品《侠客行》中的硬伤，而作出如此安排，不得不说这也是极有才华的一个改动啊！如果说金庸是将侠客岛描述为貌恶实善，给人意外；那慕容玄恭就是将侠客岛众人描述为似善实恶，引发人心震憾。在情节曲折性上，双方各有千秋，谁更高明，不便评说。另外阿青在最后的那段话，也埋下了日后魔王结局阿青刺杀主角的伏笔············）

我觉得主角对萧峰已经很够意思了，甚至愿意得罪天下武林同道放萧峰跑路，但萧锋却不愿意舍下父亲和契丹铁骑独自逃生（也符合萧峰的性格）。如果让萧父和契丹铁骑回到辽国，以他们以中原汉人的仇恨，多半要对宋不利，因此，以主角的性格，他狠下心来一了得了，也在情理之中。再引用主角以前说的一段对话：

萧峰：这个带头大哥能率领中土豪杰，自是个武功既高，声望又隆的人物。他信中语气，跟汪帮主交情大非寻常，他称汪帮主为兄，年纪比汪帮主小些，比我当然要大得多。这样一位人物，应当并不难找，嗯，看过那封信的，有智光和尚、丐帮的徐长老和马夫人、铁面判官单正。那个赵钱孙，自也知道他是谁。赵钱孙已告知他师妹谭婆，想来谭婆也不会瞒他丈夫。智光和尚与赵钱孙，都是害死我父母的帮凶，那当然是要杀的，这个他妈的带头大哥，哼，我······我要杀他全家，自老至少，鸡犬不留！

不得不承认，虽然不客气，却是很有客观道理。主角绝对不是养虎贻患的人。

既然双方都认同雁门关义士所为是错，萧峰父子无辜，萧远山杀死儿子养父母是错，乔家夫妇无辜，那就没什么好争了。

主角在契丹线的所为，有人认同有人不认同，我觉得这是个国仇和私情的取舍问题。
毕竟对现代中国人而言，契丹早就不存在了，我想很多人读天龙时，对萧峰的异族身份不会带有多少感情色彩。
在关注萧氏父子血仇的时候，也更多是将其放在私仇的范畴内来看待的。
很多人在感情上是把萧峰当做一个有契丹血统的汉人，而不是被汉人养育的契丹人。
不过假设这事儿是发生在一百年前，萧峰的身份换成日本人，感情上可就大大不同了。
从宋辽国仇的角度看问题，加上萧峰南院大王的身份，主角的行为不是没有道理。
原书中的萧峰我是比较喜欢的，但远不到萧粉的地步。契丹线我的遗憾不是萧峰之死，而是希望主角能更多些人情味。
不过话说回来，主角心中最重视之物是天下、红颜，加之群芳中对枭雄角色亲睐有加（岳不群、左冷禅我觉得是典型），契丹线结局算是顺理成章的。
