100% CONFIRMED: BETA JUNE 12, 2009 ,Reasoning:

Much has been brought to light this day, in part thanks to my 180-reply, 3k view, 10 page epic thread.

I will now go over the hurricane of new knowledge we have about Friday's release.

1. It's a Friday.

2. Thanks to "Twitter Guy", as he will now be known as, We now know that the pre-beta servers have closed. In WotLK beta, it was released to the public exactly 2 days after the pre-beta servers had closed. Since the pre-beta servers closed today, it would make sense for the beta servers to open in 2 days (Friday). 3. The meddling with Bnet accounts left people with merged wow accounts with a beta opt-in and those without a merge without one. While this is evidently a bug, it still shows that it is very likely that those receiving beta have been separated from those who are not.

4. Several Pros and Teamliquid.net people have already received their keys (at the beginning of the week).

5. Blizz has on their warcraft regional site that people will be able to play the "LATEST BUILD" of "BETA" at the event. This means beta must come out before the 26th. Probably about 2 weeks before then (12th).
See? it's all starting to add up in your head, isn't it?

6. On warcraft 3, Blizz changed their URL for the westfall(beta) server from beta.battle.net to ClassicBeta.battle.net. Surely this is a sign that they have allocated this old URL to their SC2 server, readying it for Friday's release.

7. Karune Panic-Deleted my epic thread, because I was so close to the planned date and Blizzard wants this to be a surprise on Friday, in order to grab all the gaming site news headlines with epic fervor.

8. June 12th is probably the LAST POSSIBLE DATE that can be considered "Early June", as Blizzard told Gamestar the beta would be out in "LATE MAY / EARLY JUNE".

9. The all-powerful Highland3r has work Thursday and for Friday he is off of work, meaning he does not need to call out of work. Every time he's called out of work he's been proven to be wrong, meaning this time he will most definitely be right.

10. Prediction Time. What will happen Friday: Having separated the accounts out from those who will get a key from those who will not (#3), Blizzard will open up their new beta server (#6) to the public. We will get owned on the beta ladder by pros who have gotten their invitations early in the week (#4). Twitter Guy will tweet about the beta (#2). People will talk about how right Highlander was instead of making independent news announcements (#7). After 2 weeks of testing and troubleshooting, Blizz will update the beta build for its Warcraft regional competition (#5).
