[分享] Napoleon: Total War on Pelit magazine [复制链接]

Pelit is a finnish gaming magazine, and there was NTW preview on it today, so I though I'd translate what I got out of it. Some of it might have been already posted somewhere, though. Info mainly from Kieran Bridgen.

-Italian campaign: Napoleons army isn't filled with elite troops, instead it's just an army made to slow down the Austrians. You will only control those provinces you are able to capture

-North-African campaign: in the beginning, Napoleon is in control of good elite army, but all the troops he'll have in addition to those are beduins and such since Napoleon is isolated from France by the British Navy. The goal here is to capture the british colonies before they can drag their armies there.

-In the last campaign - the European campaign - you'll be once again leading a nation. "In the EU campaign, all the major powers - Russia, Austria, Prussia and GB - are against France. You can of course play with other factions, but the script(?) is designed from Napoleons point of view. The allies aren't equal, France must take advantage of of military or political weaknesses of other factions. Small armies are crushed on the battlefields and rulers can be bribed or threatened to join France (to make alliance)

-Some kind of AI Director: on ETW, CA focused too much on making the AI have good economy. The AI started to think warring was never good thing because it could crush the economy and didn't want to fight. Now there's AI director organizing the countries to fight against you (as in the "GC" playing as France there's an alliance made against you so the factions should work better together?)

-Units won't be carbon copies, stats and looks depend on faction.

-Napoleon can't die. No idea if this applies to all campaigns. If Napoleon gets hit, he'll get back to Paris to rest and heal.

-Horses aren't willing to charge a wall of bayonets, atleast when the men are in square formation (mentioned as an example about new animation stuff)

前面的信息多数是以前报道过的,最重要的两条信息和大家说下
第一个就是拿破仑死不了,在战场上被击中不算死亡,而只是受伤,他将回到巴黎休息和治疗。
第二个就是马在面对刺刀时会害怕的不愿冲锋!

是的,史实也是骑兵遇到步兵刀强,马儿都是绕着跑。结果骑兵被OOXX!

意大利戰役:拿破崙的軍隊不是由精英組成的,而是一隻用來牽制奧地利的軍隊。你將只能控制你可以佔領的區域。

大意就是ai會認為戰爭很燒錢,而且會組成一個反法同盟來打你。

這雖然是個老消息,但是還是讓人很愉快呀:士兵單位不會一樣,數據和外形都根據派系。
