5月左右上市,最近几周内会有新版本

Paradox是出产历史策略游戏的老大啊,相当于西方的KOEI(准确说是KOEI相当于东方的prodox),旗下的十字军之王,欧陆风云,维多利亚,钢铁雄心系列都是经典呀!!!希望MB加入后能加上战略类的元素!
呵呵附带说一句prodox从不出产网游,所以可以不必担心MB变成网游了,最大可能是带有联机功能的单机游戏,而且有如此专业的公司加入MB的开发进度一定会大大加快,用不着多久我们就可以看到正式版了

Paradox Interactive signs much awaited Mount & Blade
The PC action/role-playing game gears up for official release
New York, USA (January 24, 2008) – Paradox Interactive announced today great news for all fans of medieval combat title Mount & Blade. After several years in BETA, the game is close to completion and scheduled for a worldwide release during Q2, 2008.
Mount&Blade is a single-player, third- or first-person action/role-playing game with a focus on medieval combat. Developed by the Turkish development house TaleWorlds Entertainment, the BETA version of the game has received acclaim worldwide by gamers impressed by everything from the realistic horseback combat to the sandbox gameplay. The latter enables players to roam the map freely in a medieval world that offers options ranging from hunting down bandits, trading for profit in the game's deep economical system and becoming a commander and taking part in the wars ultimately becoming a great lord of the realm.
"We believe Mount & Blade could be a genre defining title and we are thrilled to be working with TaleWorlds Entertainment to bring the game to a worldwide audience, said Fredrik Wester, Executive Vice President of Paradox Interactive. We are very happy and excited about this as well. Our contacts at Paradox Interactive have been very supportive to us and we will continue the development of the game (and releasing beta versions) just as before. Therefore, there will be no adverse affects of the deal.
The final release date we are aiming for is around May. That is not very far away, but we hope to finish the features we have been planning for until then.
I am glad you enjoyed the new artwork. (Ganbat's concept art does rock!) We'll hopefully release a new version in a few weeks and I hope you'll like the content improvements as well.
