Killable Children (Version 1.2 - By Neclipse)
=============================================
Description:
============
This mod enables you to kill any or all of the children in Fallout 3. Keep in mind that due to the fact that you aren't normally supposed to be able to kill children there are some graphical glitches when you kill them. See the screenshots included with the file for more information. As a by-product of what this mod does it also allows you to play a child. For further instructions on how to do this please scroll down.
There are two versions of the mod included. One has normal childrens bodies and the other uses the adult body form. There is not a noticable difference until you remove the outfit the kid is wearing. Please refer to screenshots to see the difference. I included the optional file as the adult bodies have the normal gore added to them that you would normally see when you kill someone and there limbs are removed.
If you use the normal version however the limbs are still removable and you can blow up the kids heads. But there will seem to be a hole where the limb was previously.
The only drawback to using the optional version however is the fact that females will have more lady-like features when there outfit is removed. It is nothing bad, and the size of the bodies stay the same, as you can see in the screenshots. But its a matter of taste, which is why i have included both options for you to choose.
Lastly, please follow instructions carefully. There is a 1 time command you need to type into the console to fully allow for killable children (Afterwards you will not have to type it in again, unless you start a new game). If you don't type the command, you will just be able to knock them unconscious.
***New In Version 1.2:***
Fixed a few grammatical errors, and updated it modularity. All the previous variations are now included in one file (Normal, Normal Optional, Normal Health, Normal Health Optional, and Killable Kids No Extras). I have also noticed that with my mod you can play as the Child Race. However there are special instructions you must follow to be able to do this, and still keep the child size/race working. See below for further details. *And yes you will be able to activate sinks/toilets/levers and all that. It won't give you the 'Children Cannot Use This' Dialog.

Whats The Difference Between Each .ESP?
=======================================
KillableKids.esp - Kids are killable, fight back, and have increased health. Uses child body.
KillableKidsOptional.esp - Kids are killable, fight back, and have increased health. Uses adult body for extra gore.
KillableKidsNormalHealth.esp - Kids are killable and fight back. Uses child body.
KillableKidsNormalHealthOptional.esp - Kids are killable and fight back. Uses adult body for extra gore.
KillableKidsNoExtra.esp - Kids are killable, they don't fight back, no extra health. Uses child body.
How do I successfully play as a child?
====================================
1.Play normally up until you get to the last part of the vault quest. (This could also be done anytime in game as long as you are passed the part where Amata wakes you up and you're an adult.)
2. open console (~) and type showracemenu.
3. Choose your child race. If you are using one of the optional ESP's you can choose to use a child race entitled that begins with Opt. This race will use the adult body type to add extra gore and gib. Otherwise you will have the normal child body.
4. Choose your facial features and such. *Do Not move the face on teh screen or it will go black.* But as long as you don't move the face around you can adjust your facial features as you like.
5. Exit the race menu. And open console again. Type player.setscale 1
6. Exit console and enjoy you're game. You now be able to play as a child and do all the normal things an adult character could. You won't get a 'Children Can't Use This' message when trying to use lever's and such.
Installation:
=============
1. Unrar KillableKidsV1.2.rar to your Program Files/Bethesda Softworks/Fallout 3/Data folder.
2. Copy kids.txt to your Program Files/Bethesda Softworks/Fallout 3 folder.
***Note that is the main directory not your /data directory. This is important***
3. Go to Data Files in your FO3 launcher menu and check KillableKids.esp or KillableKidsOptional.esp. ***DO NOT use both*** (If you used the Normal Health or No Extras Version check it instead.)
4. Launch your game.
5. Once you load your save file, open console.
6. Type bat kids (This will run the text file you copied earlier and set all kids to non-essential so you can kill them)
7. Exit Console
8. Enjoy the game and have fun.
Uninstall:
==========
1. Remove KillableKids.esp (or whichever version you chose)from your /Data directory.
2. Delete chfemaleupperbody.nif and chupperbody.nif from the Meshes\characters\_male\ folder.
Updating To A New Version:
==========================
1. Copy either KillableKids.esp or KillableKidsOptional.esp into your /data folder and overwrite the previous version. *Make sure you don't use both esp's*
2. Load up the game and enjoy.
Compatibility:
==============
This mod will not be compatible with any mod that changes the Child Races. This mod may also break some quests if you let the quest NPC die due to the fact that they are now not invulnerable.
