**BIG NOTE**
IGNORE THE DAMAGE THAT THE FNFAL CLAIMS TO BE DOING!
this value you are seeing ingame in no way represents its effectiveness. it is a calculated number (as are all automatic weapons) based on the rate of fire and the animations used. the actual figure is @ 25 at max per shot, which is greater than the vanilla rifles per shot
in short, the effectiveness of this weapon is a little better than the vanilla Chinese assault rife.

please do not post in the comments about "god weapon" or such based on this number, however if you have used it and feel it is too strong or too weak, feel free

*INSTALLATION*

**DO NOT EXTRACT THIS RAR TO YOUR DATA DIRECTORY**
in order to install the files correctly, you must drag and drop them into place.
drag and drop fnfal.esp into your /DATA/ folder.
drag and drop the folder /meshes/ into your data folder
choose HighRes or LowRes, and open the corresponding folder. drag and drop the /textures/

folder into your /DATA/ folder.

i recommend running any mod with FOMM.

uncheck and/or delete any previous versions of Fnfal.esp

the low down:

it seems the supermutants have found a stash of these rifles and have started arming themselves with them. a few have been known to make it into the hands of some of the more serious weapon vendors in the wastes.

"player.additem 00f1ffec 1" (FN FAL)
"player.additem 00e1ffec 1" (L1A1) [can be purchased off of tulip]
"player.additem 00f04240 #" (7.62x51mm NATO)

added the L1A1. semi automatic and uses .308 WIN
extensive tweaks to the FNFAL's fire rate and damage
balanced the drop rate of the 7.62x51 NATO

4.2 switched the FAL from the supermutants to the
Talon/Regulators due to a conflict with animations.
prepare to be fired at with this weapon.

still to do: add a Trilux scope to the L1A1
find a way to fix the lame way the game calculates and displays auto fire weapon damage

*usage*

the works contained within "FnfalV4.rar" are free to use with Fallout 3. permission is

hereby granted to anyone who wishes to include these works in conjunction with a "pack"
under the terms of:

A. any and all contributing author of each work to be used are credited to their contributions and displayed in plain view within the description of the release and the Readme.txt accompanying the release.

B. the artistic works used from "FnfalV4.rar" remain intact and as they came originally. specific edits may be discussed with original authors and would have to meet their approval.

C. the works contained within "FnfalV4.rar are never to be used for profit.
