And no, I don't mean intelligent lads who write their own stuff for whatever their convictions are. I'm talking about the retarded script kiddies who go to MPGH.net and similar sites, find the latest "1.3.37" hack, get in and start showing off how pr0 they are.

From now on, I'll refer to such people, plainly as, "cheaters".

Currently our banlist contains 1202 records, plus at least 300 from the old banlist. This means, 1500 cheaters are banned.

While this is an impressive number, the cheater levels have not dropped, meaning either there are more and more cheaters every day, or our ban system is ineffective. Well, you guessed it, our ban system is ineffective. Some ISPs don't even provide static IPs to their users for some strange reason (it's easier to set up and doesn't require a hefty DHCP server to leech energy) so our IP bans are in the trash. XUID? That can be easily changed with a bit of memory editing and since we have no way to circumvent that, hackers can just walk back in as if nothing happened.

So, in near future, if the situation doesn't drastically change, we'll shut down the server temporarily, until we can figure out how to prevent the little fucktards from coming back in. If anyone has any ideas, please share them in PM to me.

You know, just go to Google and search for "alteriwnet hacks". Every result which provides them is to blame for this.

You had something given to you for free and you just want to stomp on it and fuck it up. Yes, little fucktarded script kiddie, I'm talking to YOU.

With this announcement, I'm also asking all hacking sites to STOP producing hacks for alterIWNet. I believe we are on the same side, against the tyranny of Activision and IW's neglect of the PC Community, we provide MW2 for free and we only expect a bit of decency in return.

So, if you're a cheater and you read this message, please stop being a fucktard for the sake of this project and many that will come in future.

If in 3 days, the situation doesn't change, alterIWNet will be suspended indefinitely.

You are free to comment on here, but if aIW shuts down, you know who to whine to.

使用针对1.3.37版作弊器的作弊者呈疯狂上升态势，目前它的服务器ban列表中已包含超过1500作弊者的记录。因为至今还未开发出好的行之有效的工具来避免这种现象的发生，alterIWnet无奈选择暂行关闭服务器的决策。希望借此手段告诫所有使用alterIWnet的玩家：每一个使用针对1.3.37作弊器的作弊者应该感到羞愧，并从此停止使用这样的作弊器。alterIWnet声明：若再出现大规模作弊者，它们将考虑永久性关闭服务器直至开发出能有效ban或踢除作弊者的工具出来为止。
所以藉此机会希望所有使用alterIWnet的中国的玩家，不要再考虑使用作弊器了。那此曾今或即将打算使用的，要坚决不再使用作弊器，为自己为所有使用alternIWnet的玩家营造公平的竞技环境。否则以后想玩的机会都没得了，或者你亦可以考虑购买正版....但这也意味着你要忍受IW59.99美刀的暴行及它严重忽视PC社区用户的行径（上文：I believe we are on the same side, against the tyranny of Activision and IW's neglect of the PC Community）！我想这也是alterIWnet与广大买不起正版或因为其忽略PC社区而愤恨的PC用户的共同心声！
当然我们还是呼吁：正版万岁！不能总是要正版买家为盗版玩家买单...我想即使正版玩家有时也会谴责IW：一个DLC也卖15美刀！
