Fudzilla再次確認nvidia的新晶片GT300將會如期在2009年發佈。從現在有的消息來看，GT300大約會在本年11月左右的時間發佈。GT300當然會是nvidia最高級的繪圖芯片。
NVIDIA已經付出了很大的努力，以打敗ATi和保持領先的性能優勢。NVIDIA的DirectX 11硬體將會在2010年第1季大量出貨， 40nm高端部分應該預計第一季度到2010年年初為599美元，但這個級數的產品不會暢銷，銷量也不會達到百萬計的單位， Nvidia應該能提供足夠的卡給消費者。即使出現問題， Nvidia將仍然於本年第四季(即年底前)展示其硬件。

Both RV870 and R800 are DirectX 11, and both are based on the same chip, as the R800 card consists of two RV870, 40nm chips.
Our sources are quite confident that ATI should have these cards ready for launch either in very late Q3 (late September time), or very early Q4 2009, that starts in October.
Since Windows 7 officially launches on October 22nd, you should expect ATI to have at least two, or more likely three DirectX 11 cards to jump the DirectX 11 bandwagon.
We are not sure about DX11 games, and currently we can only hope that Nvidia's DirectX 11 can also come in 2009, as many people are starting to whisper that Nvidia's DirectX 11 card in 40n, is early 2010 rather than late 2009.
We’ve confirmed something that we’ve heard a long time ago, but we could not second it. Now we know that RV770 design concepts are the guidelines for the design of ATI's upcoming chip that well all keep calling RV870. This Evergreen generation chip has the same design concepts but you can expect faster speeds and more shader units.
The shader units are changed in order to accommodate DirectX 11 needs as this is the big focus of the chip. The chip is still scheduled for late Q3 2009 introduction, most likely Septemberish time and it will undoubtedly be the first Direct X 11 chip on the market.
Nvidia’s GT300, a next generation chip that also carries another codename but all keeps calling it GT300, is as far as we know the new architecture, something better than GT200 and you should expect some radical design changes. ATI should finalize the development of „RV870“ 40nm DirectX 11 chip at some point in August. This is what our usually well informed sources have confirmed. We are talking about the cards and chips should already be taped out a while ago.
The real launch and mass production should happen in very late Q3, probably in late September, and real availability is expected in October.
From this point, it looks like that ATI might have a month or two head start, as Nvidia's „GT300“ should show its face in very late Q4 2009. All in all, it will be very interesting Q4 but this also denotes that most of July and at least half of August will be rather graphically boring.
