Warcraft III Patch v1.23

The Warcraft III patch v1.23 has been released with several game fixes, updates and new maps.

- For the easiest patching process it is recommended that you connect to Battle.net. This can be done by starting the game and clicking on the Battle.net button.

If you have The Frozen Throne expansion installed you only need to download and install The Frozen Throne patch.

Note: If you have any problems while patching, please refer to our support site steps for help.

- Go to the The Frozen Throne patch downloads page to download the stand-alone patch.
- Check the The Frozen Throne v1.23 Patch Notes page for detailed changes in this latest game update.

Blizzard has released new update patches for Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos as well as The Frozen Throne. This v1.23a upgrade fixes an custom map exploit, a patch issue with Intel Macs, and makes it compatible with Battle.net's new banner ad system.

- Battle.net now uses a new banner ad system.

FIXES

- Fixed an exploit where an altered custom map would be seen identical to
the original custom map.
- Fixed an issue where some patches could not apply on Intel Macs.
