Konami apologise for Metal Gear Online issues

While Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots experienced wide success at retail, many gamers were underwhelmed by the multiplayer component, Metal Gear Online. Konami have recently publicly apologised for limited functionality which has been evident with Metal Gear Online since the introduction of the Gene Expansion pack.

The Metal Gear Online Gene Expansion Pack release led to a number of issues with Konami's systems and servers. Konami are still in the process of fixing issues caused by the launch of the Metal Gear Online Gene Expansion.

On their website, Konami have published a complete timeline that describes the issues experienced and steps taken to rectify them.
