解决打过patch依旧进不去需要验证的问题

就是tages的文件夹不在all users而在all users WINDOWS里面（XP下），还有就是把vca.bin和serial.txt都拷入All Users.Windows\Application Data\Tages\100663362
之前都放在All users下都不成功，放在All users WINDOWS下试验成功

另附提高流畅度方法，改16bit为8bit，速度提高很大

顺便附上一些老外的安装方法，之前方法不管用的可以试试。。。。
1. Install Game then Unzip and execute Rid****DarkAthenaPatch1.01.zip to Patch to game version 1.01

2. Set Windows hidden folders to viewable - go to Control panel>Folder option and check "Show hidden files, folders"

3. Start game>Play>I don't have activation code>Next
Enter serial number EXWM6-3HJ3T-KAFDU-URJRD-AFD93 >Next
I dont have Internet Connection
Save>Save>Close

4. Close all Explorer windows if open

5. Reopen Explorer copy vca.bin & serial.txt to Tages\100663362 folder
WinXP>C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Tages\100663362
Vista > C:\ProgramData\Tages\100663362

6. Copy/paste Patch.exe into folder Atari\The Chronicles of Rid**** - Assault on Dark Athena\System\win32_x86\

7. Start patch.exe wait

8. Start game

Xp没有这文件夹吗？可能是我重装系统时没有格式化。。。
我电脑里有All Users和All Users.WINDOWS两个文件夹 [汗水]

最简单的就是在保护光驱之前先运行一遍游戏，看tages文件夹建立在哪里

ok finally got it working. I have WINDOWS XP SP3. Its worked, I completely unistalled and did it again to check and it worked again. FOLLOW EXACTLY.

Unistall game if already installed, including the TAGES folder in application data/all users. ( if you dont do this it will not work, leaving tages folder there will not allow the game to play for some reason.

1 - Install the game

2 - Patch the game to version 1.01 with the patch included in the zip archive ( obviously uncompressing it first )

3 - VERY IMPORTANT - after patch 1.01 installed, run the game from the shortcut on desktop, DONT ENTER ANYTHING AT ALL. Leave for about 10 secs, then click cancel.

4 - use windows search to find tages folder, double click on the found folder and then double click on the 100663362 folder, copy and paste the Vca.bin and serial.txt files here. There should be no other files links or anything there. if there is a web link you tried to register it with the serial number and your will need to remove completely and start again )

5 - copy and paste the crack patch to programs/atari/chronicles........../system/win32_64 folder and run. crack patch takes about 10 secs. done

I also made sure my antivirus was disabled completely and that my internet connection was also off.

看来安装中间不能有联网认证，如果不小心验证了就要删掉重装
