The Sims 3 University Life Limited Edition will be available through all online/in store retailers when pre ordering. The Limited Edition content included is the “Party Pack”.
The Party Pack features the Partaeus Maximus statue which will give Sims the ability to throw the themed costume bash of their lives. The pack comes with brand new togas, laurel leaves and masquerade masks for those classic college parties. Partaeus Maximus will not only let you choose between toga, masquerade, formal, sleepwear, and swimwear parties, but will also boost the moods of all of your party guests.
Pre-order The Sims 3 University Life Limited Edition and get the party started! The Limited Edition features The Party Pack Bundle and includes the Partaeus Maximus statue.
This statue is an object that allows your Sims to throw the best parties ever – from a raging toga party to a mysterious masquerade event to an elegant formal affair. Party guests will even get a mood boost and an attire adjustment to reflect your desired party theme!

The typical “Blackberry” looking cell phone in the UI, has now been replaced with a new “Smartphone” looking cell phone. This change adds the ability for Sims to snap smartphone photos with other Sims. When taking photos with a smartphone, you can print them out and hang them on your wall, or keep them stored in the cell phone.

University will allow you to build apartment buildings in the home worlds. They work very similar to the dorms in that you can assign beds to sims and lock doors to only allow certain sims into any room or set of rooms you wish.

Sims will now be able to spray paint different images onto walls by using the new “Tag Wall” and “Draw Mural” interactions. Sims can choose from a variety of sizes, and spray paint any walls around town. Don’t get caught by the police though!

There has not been any confirmation on whether or not a regular “Sunset Valley-like” town is included in the game - probably not -, but a “University” sub-hood is included. This sub-hood is similar to those found in The Sims 3 World Adventures. When Sims leave town and head to University, a loading screen will appear as the University Town loads.

Young Adults, Adults, & Elder Sims are able to enroll in University via the computer or telephone. Once a household member enrolls, a “Send Sims to University” screen will appear with plenty of options for customizing the university experience.
From this screen you can choose all eligible household members to attend university, choose a degree major, choose the number of credits needed to complete the major, and also choose how many terms the students should serve. It appears that a total of 40 credits is needed to complete a University degree.

Learning is more fun than ever with new major-specific objects. Your Sims can broadcast their own radio show as a Communications student or bone up on anatomy using the skeleton as a Science and Medicine major. Your Sims can also learn through class activities, lectures at the student union, and joining in social activities.

The University Llama will stop by your home and deliver a University Welcome Kit. From this kit, Sims can grab all kinds of freebies (shirts, flags, etc), and they can even take the Aptitude Test. The Aptitude Test tests Sims based on their skills, traits, & current careers. All those factors will determine how many test points/credits they receive, as well as help give Sims scholarships to help pay for tuition.
When Sims head off to University, they can choose to live in Dorms, or rent a place of their own. Since they are on a university campus, they do not have to purchase an entire property to live. While having their own place may be best for some Sims, living in dorms among other students is more ideal for the full “university” feel.
Dorms allow you to assign beds to sims and lock doors to only allow certain sims into any room or set of rooms you wish. Living with roommates is a challenge, but if you befriend other roommates, you may even be able to convince them to clean your messy room or cook you dinner.
Grow your social networking skill through texting, blogging and streaming video. In The Sims 3 University Life there are different social groups on campus: the nerds, the rebels and the jocks. Hanging out and gaining cred with these three groups offers unique advantages to your Sims, from earning dream jobs to even gaining an extra trait.
Just like in real life, your Sims’ decisions are deeply interconnected. For example, a Fine Arts student benefits from the Avant Garde trait, and develops their Street Art skill and cred with the Rebels by tagging and spray painting. Just don’t let your Sims get caught by the cops!
Sims can join strictly all-male and all-female fraternities or sororities.

同时期待一下背包、乒乓球台（搭配之前的官物可以修一个真正的日式温泉旅馆了～）、保龄球馆（这次打保龄球不会像模2时代那样碰上夕阳小姐了～
）、演讲角、iPhone、坐在地上用电脑、手机自拍、自动贩卖机、街头涂鸦和社团日（我可以说那个展台和我们社团日用的那种简直一模一样么。。。
），还有那个会跑步的骨架简直太恶搞了
Pool Table是台球桌（MS继华丽舞台的那两个之后又有新款的了，就是视频截图里那个上面印着绿水晶的，不知有没有新玩法。。。），Hacky Sack不是毽子，是北方小孩子常玩的沙包
