Chemistry set can be used starting from child age and increases logic skill (so, no special skill for it).
化學組合可從兒童階段開始使用, 並增加邏輯技能(所以, 這回沒另設技能)。

If you want to research new potions formulas, you should use “Discover potion” interaction.
如果你想研究新的藥水配方, 你須要進行互動『發現藥水』。

Once you learned how to make a potion, you can create it and use it for yourself or others.
當你學會如何做藥水後, 你可以做出來給自己或別人服用。

There’s also an option to mix it into drinks. So if you leave this special mix on a table, another Sim could drink it and… well, you’ll see the effects!
而且還有選項可調配成飲料。於是當你把這特調留在桌上, 別的模擬市民將會喝到...然後, 你會看到效果!

Here are some examples of potions and their effects:
這是一些藥水的例子跟其功效:

- Ninja vanish potion: to teleport to any place. Very useful if you want to disappear after pulling a prank…
- 消失忍者藥水: 可傳送至任意位置。當你想在惡作劇過後消失時特別有用...

- Mood Enhancer: to increase the mood.
- 心情增強劑: 提高心情。

- Radical Reparium potion: it gives a handiness skill boost.
- 基礎修補藥水: 促進靈巧技能提升。

- Imaginary Friend Metamorphium potion: to make your imaginary friend real. You must keep it in your inventory and then offer him to become real.
- 幻想朋友變形藥水: 使你的幻想朋友成為真實。你必須將它保存在隨身物品包裡令使他活過來。

- Young again potion: you’ll switch to the previous age stage again. So, if you are a young adult, you’ll become a teenager again!
- 返老還童藥水: 你將可再次轉回前一年齡階段。所以, 如果你是青年人, 你將會再次成為青少年!

- Liquid horror potion: the Sim who drinks it gets scared for few hours.
- 液態恐懼藥水: 喝過此藥的模擬市民將會擔驚受怕數小時。

- Bladder flow potion: you’ll gotta do what you’ll gotta do…
- 膀胱泛濫藥水: 做該去做的...

- Ghost potion: to become a ghost for a while.
- 鬼魂藥水: 可變成鬼魂一會。

So, potions can be used both for pranks and to enhance your life. That’s not something properly “magic”, but I think it’s good for the ones that would like the game to be more “magic”.
所以, 藥水皆可用於惡作劇跟優化你的生命上。這不是什麼正規『魔法』, 不過我想對那些想令遊戲變得更『不可思議』的來說倒是不錯。

忍者藥水跟返老還童藥是亮點!
Sims們終於可以跳回前一年齡段了!
是說, 我的Sims始祖們不用每天喝生命果汁了...

現在就是要不停旅遊拖時間嗎...(遠目)

很期待忍着药水和返老还童，以前忘了吃生命果神仙菜突然进入老年，总是放弃进度从新玩，这次起码可以多一个后备。
不知道会不会有相应的水果蔬菜或者其他新材料，以及制作工具，这些药水也得制作吧，期待还是很多滴，虽然这堆E文上没写。

應該是需要相應材料的吧, 以EA的慣例來說...(遠目)
不過我不是怕他們會老去, 畢竟現在我的家族很奇怪: 自己捏的小人們變成了吸血鬼(...), 然後每天的生命食糧就是喝生命果汁...||| 那就不怕會老去了...
不過他們的孩子還是在成長, 快要有下一代了說...
如果不是出了DV功能, 我想我就不用停止生育計劃, 讓他們先別老太快, 等出了EP有DV了再讓孫子出生, 好晚一點一起看紀錄享受家庭樂...

其實最糾結的是回憶系統, 與家庭成員的互動, 跟DV拍攝功能啊啊啊!!!
可憐我的Sims家族在留下家族族譜的時候可以多一個選項啊有木有! 不想只畫畫像跟拍照啊! 就不能留點活一點的嗎有木有!
「我說, 孩子啊, 這就是你祖父跟祖母...」(指著畫像/照片)「你不知道以前他們都壞啊...(回憶開始)」
於是可憐的孩子只能想像!
但有了DV的話, 就可以放給孩子們看了...多美好啊...
還能看到他們之間的討論...

对“再次轉回前一年齡階段”这个，有很大疑问……比如一个已婚人士，变回青少年，那法律上、伦理上，如何看待他的婚姻事实，他的配偶、子女才好？

这个功能无疑能给玩家增加很多乐趣，但造成的，游戏人物的关系问题，也不是一般的严重。静观其变ing……

The Sims 3 Generations has many new items in buy and build mode. There’s also a new filter that lets you see the items of a certain expansion pack only. Very useful!
模擬市民3資料片《花樣年華》於購買與建築模式中新增了不少新物品。而且還加入過濾器, 讓你只看到從某幾組資料片裡的物品。非常實用!

There are new sofas, tables, bookshelves, lights, a mixer, a beverage machine, a sleeping bag and so on, but the categories with more news are the ones dedicated to kids, electronics and entertainment.
這次新增了新沙發, 桌子, 書架, 燈飾, 一台攪拌器, 一台熱飲機, 睡袋等等, 並在分類上更優待孩子們, 新增電器與娛樂。
There are also 2 expensive sport cars (they cost around 50.000 Simoleons).
這次還多了兩部昂貴的跑車(它們大概價值50,000模擬幣)。

If you find something nice for someone, just put it in your inventory and give it to him as a gift! The Sims 3 Generations offers many new things in the catalog you can choose from!

ELECTRONICS 電器
There are new stereos, a console, cameras, a data disk storage tower, a clock that looks like a teapot and funny and colorful TVs for children. Grannies will love the old style TV.
這次新增了新的音響組合, 一個工作桌, 攝影機,一台影碟儲存架, 一個看上去像茶壺的時鐘跟有趣又色彩繽紛的兒童用電視。奶奶們會喜歡這種懷舊式電視的。

TOYS 玩具
There are tons of new toys both for home and the garden.
這次於家中跟庭園新增了非常多的玩具。

You can create amazing playgrounds with sand boxes, riding toys (you can put toddlers on them too), slides, water slides (adults can use them too), seesaws (adults can use them)and swings.
你可以用沙盤創造令人驚奇的遊樂場, 騎乘玩具(你還能放幼兒進去), 滑梯, 水滑梯(連大人都可使用), 搖搖板(大人可用)跟秋千。

Children that have something in their inventory can bury it in sand.

In lot bin you can also find a new community lot with a very nice playground.

While at home, kids can play with the new toy oven, the toy box, the hopscotch court (adults can use it too) and the costume chest.

This last one is very interesting and lets your children wear astronaut, prince, princess or dinosaur costumes and pretend to be that character. For example, princesses does a sort of “royal walk” and wave at people.

Tree house is really nice. It’s quite big, so be sure to have enough space in the garden. You can name it, sleep, play, invite people on it, set entry restrictions (only for boys or girls) and dump water on someone.

Another way to have fun in game is throwing a slumber party.

BEDS 床
Bunk beds are great and there are several different models to choose from. For each of them there’s also a version with a bed upstairs and nothing downstairs, so you can put toys or a desk. Perfect if you don’t have enough space!

而雙層床用途很廣, 特別是對在公寓跟旅遊地點的小渡假屋裡住的朋友來說。睡袋也很不錯。
樹屋的介紹, 我在翻譯時笑了很久: 成人不能與樹屋互動─不過這是他們新增的WooHoo地點之一[嘿嘿嘿]

HOME VIDEOS

One of the news of this expansion pack is that you can use the camera to take home videos and watch them at home... just be sure to have a TV! A very nice way to remember the happy old times when you are old…

To use the camera at home or outside, just put it in your inventory and click on it to enter a first person view. Then, press C to start and stop recording. First person view videos are really interesting… you’ll be able to see the World as a Sim!

Once a recording is completed, a disc will be placed in your Sim’s inventory and you can rename it.
To organize your home videos, you can buy a data disc storage.

Think how nice it would be to pass it to your grandchildren when you are old, in order to make your memories last forever (or at least until they don’t throw the disks away!).
Elders have “reminisce about” interaction. You can also choose the topic, like music, school, childhood and good old days.

這次新增的攝像錄影機可以記錄模擬市民生活的點滴，但記得一定要在家裡買台電視(指遊戲裡面的家庭)，不然模擬市民拍好的影片將無法觀看
要使用攝像錄影機的時候你可以從模擬市民的存貨清單裡面找到它
拍好的影片會變成一個光碟片，你可以為這個光碟片命名
當使用這個攝像影機時按鍵盤的C是啟動，要結束錄影也是按鍵盤的C
光碟片如果有很多的時候你可以在遊戲裡面買一個光碟儲存器( data disc storag)來放置你的光碟片

摄影机拍的影像是单独保存的还是保存在Savegame里的

如果是保存在Savegame里的话拍了几部以后存档大小岂不会很恐怖
