游戏简介：
　　本游戏是以日本经典的机器人科幻作品「钢弹（GUNDAM）」系列作的第一款作品「机动战士钢弹」的「一年战争」为题材，以完全重现原作中的角色丶剧情与战役为主要诉求。
　　游戏由擅长 3D 游戏开发制作的老牌厂商 NAMCO（代表作：铁拳丶剑魂丶空战奇兵 等），与擅长动漫画作品改编游戏的 BANDAI 共同合作开发，类型为一年战争体感动作游戏，让玩家体验初代钢弹剧情中，联邦军与吉翁军双方战士们的战场经历。
　　游戏中包括机体丶战场丶角色丶战役丶剧情等部分，都完全依照原作的设定来制作，熟悉初代钢弹的玩家将可以见识到原作中的各种名场面，游戏中也将穿插全新制作的高水准卡通动画影片，体验像是黑色三连星丶卡尔马阵亡等原作桥段，当然也包括联邦军「白色恶魔」阿姆罗与吉翁军「红色彗星」夏亚两人命运的对决，以及对两人有着至深影响的三角恋情悲剧。
