SummonIT v1.0
by Vendar » Tue Nov 03, 2009 7:45 pm
Hiho,
made for my first time a little modification for the Alchemists summoning tree =]
Imps:
- decreased damage by ~33%
- incresed speed by ~ 33%
- decreased size by ~ 25%
- increased max summoned amount at rank 10 to 20
lowered slightly mana costs at early ranks
todo: balancing, maybe summoning four of them simultaneously
Golem:
- increased size 25%
- highly incresed health x10
- decreased damage by 90%
todo: was trying to make a tank, but without a aggro taunt it's senseless, maybe when torchEd is released
alternative todo: making a machingun bot =] the imps do anyway good tank work in numbers =P
BeamGolem:
- decreased size -40%
- decreased damage -55%
- increased fire speed - 200% (and a light range enhance)
- increased summonable bots to 5
and at Rank 10 there have a 20% crit chance
todo: finding a way to descale the beam size itself a little, balancing
overall todo:
Trying do some work on the vanquisher pets, make them moveable to example
Trying add some pets
Creating a Summoner set
I hope you'll have some fun with it and gi'me some feeedback =]
And sorry for the probably bad english, <- austria =P
Thx to xail, his little tutorial helped me finding into the theory =]
。。。这个是炼金的召唤强化MOD。。。上面的说明已经非常详细了。。。
[Alchemist Skill Replacement] Ocular Golems
by Gorrim » Tue Nov 03, 2009 6:04 pm
The Nether Imp Summons seemed like odd men out for an ember powered mad scientist. I have replaced them with Ocular Golems (with appropriate icons).
They do not require corpses to summon.
They Shoot:
And you can eventually have up to six of them:
The Nether Imp will now appear wherever Mechanical Crawlers used to appear, so there will be no attempted friendly fire.
To Install (a readme has been included in the zip below):
XP
Unzip the structure into your %appdata%\Runic Games\Torchlight\mods\ folder.
Vista/Win7
It should look like C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\runic games\torchlight\mods\OccMod if you are running Vista.
You can find this by following the C:\Program Files\Runic Games\Torchlight\Application Data link.
In addition, there is a new icon for the skill, but it simply will not run from the mod folder.
Warning, you will be replacing an original file. Follow the instructions below to protect the original.
To Install the skill icon:
Unzip the Pak.zip file.
Navigate to media\UI\itemicons
rename the itemicons15.dds file to itemicons15_original.dds
copy the itemicons.dds file from the Occular Golem mod (OccMod) into the folder.
Rezip Pak.zip
* Note - Corrected spelling errors (Occuli! is not correct. It's properly Oculi!, Ocular, etc.).
** Note 2 - Make sure you do not have the Pak.zip file and an unpacked media folder in the Torchlight directory simultaneously. This may cause crashes when heading back to town.
