for this to work open BioInput.ini file with Notepad
locate the section [Engine.Console] and beneath it enter the line ConsoleKey=Tilde and then hit return so there is an extra space in between sections.
You can of course choose to use another key than Tilde. I use '½'-key personally.
giveall - Gives one of every weapon and modifier item level 1-X
givexp # - Gives you the amount of experience points you specify
setparagon # - sets your paragon to said value.
setrenegade # - sets your renegade to said value.

First, enable the console by going to Documents>BioWare>Mass Effect>Config on your computer.
Then open BIOInput in Notepad. Find the line [Engine.Console] and under it add the line ConsoleKey=Tilde.
Then when playing in game simply press the tilde key (above tab) to open the console, then type in the desired cheat.
