Another surprise in store for all RS fans while they eagerly await the coming of the end of days . . . I mean the arrival of RS2. RS1.6a is a patch to RS1.6 with one major improvement and a bunch of bug fixes/tweaks.

New Features in RS1.6a:

• All Historical Battles (single-player and multi-player) will now work properly

Bug Fixes from RS1.6:

• Fixed missing eagles from caesarian legion first cohorts unit cards
• Fixed the barbarian unit with the reversed shields if you're playing from an original 3 CD install
• Tweaked the barbarian archers stats and their custom battle costs
• Tweaked the stats of all hoplite units so the most expensive units actually have the best stats
• Added recruitment for the Greek Noble Heavy Cavalry unit (it matches other greek heavy cav recruitment unlike DVK's fix which was more liberal)
• Fixed (again) the byzantine recruitment of post reform legions
• Force diplomacy will install correctly this time
• Restored elephant recruitment in Numidia (requries a new campaign to take effect)
• Fixed a few unit related text errors
• Fixed a few pre-reform roman legion recruitment irregularities with units being available where they shouldn't be
• Enabled pre-reform archers recruitable by the romans

Installation Instruction:

• Install over a clean/unmodded install of RS1.6

我自己随便译了一下，仅供参考：
1.6a版本中新功能：
所有历史战役现在都会正常出现。
从1.6版中修正的bug:
修正了凯撒里亚第一大队丢失的的鹰旗
修正了从原始3CD安装的游戏的蛮族盾牌的问题
调整蛮族弓箭手的维护费用和自定义战役费用
调整所有重装方阵兵的维护费用以让最贵的兵种有最合适的费用
增加希腊贵族骑兵的招募（让它更像其他的希腊骑兵而不像DVK（黑暗什么，忘记了）的像伊比利亚标准）
再次修正拜占庭帝国改革之前的招募
这一次强制外交系统将可以正确运行
恢复了在努米底亚地区的象的招募（要重开才能生效）
修正一些相关兵种说明的错误
修正一些帝国改革前（RS里就不叫马改，而叫帝改）罗马军团在一些本不该招募的地方能招募的问题
罗马帝国改革前的弓箭手现在能用了

有时间我就会先汉化RS1.6a，不过twcenter.net里最近好像提出了新一轮的RS2.0测试（前天），我想RS2.0应该是快了……

罗马的禁卫军怎么招啊
没看到哪个城能招
有什么条件限制？

罗马的禁卫军的招募条件：
1、只在罗马
2、建造方法是：最高级农场->建筑地基（译得不对劲）->军团纪念->禁卫兵营
注意禁卫兵营是罗马的一个特殊建筑，与建筑详略中的最高级兵营不同，好像要10回合建造，不过也可以改……
准备出RS1.6a的汉化了
