STORY

There is another world apart from ours. A world that was once beautiful but now is a hostile place ruined by war and hate. A blood stained world. Humans have ignored the existence of this other world because their destinies have never been bound to it. But that is about to change since the king and creator of the other world has been murdered. His strenght and will had disapeared as the time passed but that didn't change the fact that within him the incredible power that allowed him to create that other world still existed. Because of that he was attacked by an entity called Final: A powerful creature emerged from the infinite chaos that exists in the space between both worlds. In a single attack he ripped the king's heart and ran away with it to the depths of chaos. Hello, I'm Andrés Borghi, creator of "The black heart". This fighting videogame didn't start as a full videogame actually. Back in the year 2002 I started creating characters for the M.U.G.E.N. engine. For those of you who don't know, M.U.G.E.N. is a fighting game engine created by Elecbyte. It allows you to create your own fighting game characters to make them face each other. You can also make the backgrounds, the lifebars and every part of the game to create a full fighting game too. Most people recreates fighters from comercial games like
Street fighter or King of fighters in M.U.G.E.N. so they can have matches that would never happen in a comercial game and others, like me, create they fighters from scratch developing its concept, drawing the sprites and coding them. People liked my chars and once I had 5 of them already finished I came up with the idea of gathering them in a full fighting game using the M.U.G.E.N. engine so I started thinking a story that could gather these unrelated characters within a closed script and yet keeps them basically unchanged. This game is the result of that effort that started 7 years ago. I had several collaborations and lots of help from friends and people from the M.U.G.E.N. community but we could say the whole game is made by me. That could be good or could be bad depending on how you look at it but it's just the way it is. Also, the M.U.G.E.N. engine is very good but it has lots of flaws and bugs that I can't fix so please don't get mad if the game crashes suddenly for no reason, but don't worry, that will rarely happen.
