模拟18轮大卡车游戏一直以来都是
《18 Wheels of Steel》系列称霸，现在随着大作《Rig'n'Roll》发布期的逼近，18WOS系列危机感逐渐呈现出来，逼使18WOS今年新作推迟发布，主要原因估计是改进原有的游戏模式和3D引擎。
2007年10月4日，SCS软件宣布卡车新秀《Euro Truck Simulator 》开发消息，游戏早在年初就开始开发了，游戏区域基本上覆盖了整个欧洲地区，范围涵盖了马德里、柏林、罗马、布拉格等城市，游戏线路、车辆等都以真实数据为素材，相信填补了卡车游戏系列的一些空缺。虽然还没有公布发布日期，但单看图片介绍就比18WOS系列漂亮很多。看来18WOS又多了一个对手了，它今年的新作不得不进行大改进了...呵呵！由于开发商都是SCS，此新作引用了18WOS系列的一些素材，细心的朋友应该发现卡车内的司机Mod和18WOS的一摸一样哦！！！
